Cross-border M&A is an important means of global resource allocation, butalso an important part of China’s enterprises to participate in the global economy mustpass. In recent years, China’s enterprises to actively participate in the global mergersand acquisitions, becoming an active role in mergers and acquisitions have beenexpanding, also in the field of mergers and acquisitions to diversify. However, due todifferences in the objective existence of Western culture, the Chinese enterprises inthe process of cross-border mergers and acquisitions mostly encountered culturalconflicts caused by cultural differences, and to mergers and acquisitions businessmanagement difficult. Thus, in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, culturalintegration is one of the key factors related to the acquisition of success.Based on the study on the basis of domestic and foreign scholars to SinopecGroup M ADDax as a case study analyzed the cultural conflict in transnationalmergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises face in their integration problems.This paper argues that: the process of mergers and acquisitions, corporate culturalconflict is a problem encountered in the acquisition process, the success of mergersand acquisitions, and corporate culture has a lot of conflict, the paper analyzes thecultural conflicts, problems arise for cultural conflict, the necessity of culturalintegration.Currently, cross-border mergers and acquisitions of Chinese enterprises is still inits infancy, still need to accumulate a large number of cross-border mergers andacquisitions experience, especially the experience of cultural integration, reducingthe acquisition of cultural barriers, in order to greatly enhance the success rate ofcross-border mergers and acquisitions. |
