The Study Of Yangzhou Popular Novels And The Culture Of City In Qing Dynasty

There are some special relationships between the popular novels of Yangzhou and the culture of city in Qing Dynasty. Not only the ancient city has effects on appearance and development of popular novels,but also popular novels reflect rich and colorful city life. This dissertation focuses on the study of Yangzhou in Qing dynasty. On the one hand, we will concern about the text generation and aesthetic acceptance in popular novels on the background of the culture of Yangzhou city, try to display the whole process from writing to reading, from the writer to society, from individuals to public inseparable.On the other hand, make for a longitudinal,diachronic description of Yangzhou city of culture in the Qing Dynasty popular novels, to show the characteristics and content of Yangzhou city culture and reveal the ancient city novel inner laws of development and external literary influence by the quote and proof of its native complex in the Chinese traditional culture, and other typical cities in the ancient city of literature and men of the city in the western city literature relations from the perspective of the popular novels as much as possible.The dissertation describes the city culture in popular novels of Qing Dynasty diachronically, try to analyze the representative city which is delineated repeatedly on popular novels from different angles. The rural culture of Chinese tradition and western urban culture are frame of reference in our researches. The dissertation discusses not only the value of historical materials but also the value of art of novel in order to reveal the character and meaning of ancient city culture.In the process of writing, the dissertation consists of four parts. In preface, the dissertation will introduce the reason and the background of why to write this article,introduce the achievement that had reached on the research, point out the inadequacies, and explain some concept in this article, and explain the basic purpose and the general idea about the paper. The Chapter One,"complete picture of inspection" will introduce the background of the novels creation and dissemination about Yangzhou in Qing dynasty. Pay a attention to the location and it’s feature of commercial port from Sui and Tang dynasty, Introduce the opportunities and challenges in different periods and the reconstruction, prosperity and decline about Yangzhou in Qing dynasty.The Chapter Two,"novels in the city" will display the ecological situation of Yangzhou popular novels, to explore the cultural system and cultural mechanism that built by Yangzhou for the creation and dissemination of Yangzhou popular novels. Further study of the process about how to promote the dissemination of Yangzhou popular novels in the rise of the literati Group, the form of pluralistic reader layer, the build of establishment of reading habits and interpersonal communication networks, the bloom of bookstore and book engraving industry, the storytelling and opera performances in Yangzhou.
