Research On Dong Guan Adherents Poetry Club In The Southern Song Dynasty

The Dongguan adherent poetry club is the most typical one of the adherent poet groups. As the leader of this group in the southern song dynasty, Zhao Bixiang is always high-minded and thoughtful. This article will analyze his preference of being solitude, characters and mercy on people, through analysis of the reasons of this club’s forming, the choices of its members, members’profile, and the subjects of their poetry. At the same time, this paper will analyze through the research of his birth, lifetime, social relationships as well as the content and art characteristics of his products. This paper is divided into the following three parts:The first part mainly discusses the general situation of this club. At first, analyze the effects of social background on its forming, starting with its forming reasons, and then outlets the key reason of its forming, which is Zhao’s leadership. Next, voice my own opinion by researching the choices of the members, and make a detailed introduction to each member, referring to many problems of its members and other ideas. At last, analyzes and discusses briefly the main content of their poetry. It will mainly talks about the more productive ones in this club, so as to show the whole character of this club, and also talks about its creative features.The second part focuses on Zhao’s birth, lifetime, and his social relationships. Zhao is the10th generation of Taizhong, good at poetry when he was young, passing the national exams with his father in1265. Afterwards engaged in lang, he hold the post in zhaoqing mansion. He became reclusive in the WenTang village, Dongguan after Song Dynasty, famous for "The Bu set". Ones getting along well with him include Li Chunsou, Chengeng and ZhangDengchen etc. and under his leadership the poet adherents group formed. Zhao’s poems are pure and fresh, the plum blossom being the main topic, so as to show his elegant integrity to Yuan. His manner and the creation have great effect on the whole poetry club.The third part highlights this club under the whole social background, compared with other clubs at that time, discussing their similar points and its unique characters. And also analyzes its existence meaning.
