Study On Annual New Words Of2010

The Ministry of Education and the State Language Commission have the sixth to issue theChinese Language Situation till2011.These initiatives has caused widespread concern fromthe community which The Ministry of Education and the State Language Commission beganto issue annual new words and publish Chronology of this dictionaries since2006.This article regards623words of the book “Chinese new words of2010”, which edited byHou Min and Zhou Jian, and pulished by the commercial press as the research object. Wefocus on analysis of the linguistic characteristics, the characteristics of sociology andlanguage standardization following the way which summed up the theory from the corpus,and then to guide practice by the theory.This article has four parts. Part one is the introduction. It talks about the research object,the current state of research, defines the concept of “new words”, introduces purpose andsignificance of the research as well as the methods of the research. Part two investigation andanalysis of the2010annual new words from the linguistic point of view. This part discussesthe syllable number, constitutes, the scope of the meaning, coinage of the new words. Partthree analysises and discusses the2010annual new words. This part mainly introduses have arestricted view on social events, and the sociological feature. Part four introduces the disputeand thought the standardization of speech of the annual new words.
