Study Of The Clinical Value Of Xiaokelouweifang To Early Diabetic Nephropathy

Purpose:This clinical study with the combining disease with syndrome、comparing randomized samples, is to test the effect of Xiaokelouweifang on early diabetic nephropathy in the syndrome of deficiency of Qi and Yin and stagnant blood complex, UAER, and other index of treatment in laboratory and the drug safety.Methods:The 72 target outpatients are randomly divided into 2 groups. Both are treated with the basic diabetic therapy. The target group are treated with the TCM concentrated granule of Xiaokelouweifang recipe, the other group are treated with Irbesartan tablets 150mg daily.8 weeks later, the 2 groups are tested on the effects of the 2 medicines and their safety on patients. The indexes of treatment have included the score of syndrome grades, UAER etc.Results:1. The efficiency of the syndrome therapy on the target group is 86.11% while the other is 66.67%. The symptoms of the 2 groups were improved in the syndrome, but the difference is significant or very significant(P<0.01 or P <0.05),the total efficiency of the 2 groups also shows obvious difference, the difference is significant(P<0.01), which suggests the effect of the syndrome therapy on the target group is better than that on the other group.2. UAER of the two groups after treatment are significantly lower than before treatment, the difference is very significant (P<0.01) on target group from significant (P<0.05) on the other group, the UAER for the 2 groups also shows obvious difference, the difference is significant(P<0.01),it proves effect of the syndrome therapy on the target group is better than that on the other group.3.Blood glucose of the two groups after treatment are significantly lower than before treatment, the difference is significant (P<0.05).4. Lipid of the two groups after treatment are significantly improved, the difference is very significant(P<0.01), but the difference is not significant (P<0.05) comparing the indexes of two groups.5. Plasma viscosities after treatment are compared, the difference is significant (P<0.05); plasma viscosity of the target group is better improved than that of the other group.6. Concerned side effects of the Xiaokelouweifang have not yet been found.Conclusion:1. Xiaokelouweifang has good effect on early diabetic nephropathy deficiency of Qi and Yin and stagnant blood complex; 2. It could significantly reduce the UAER for early diabetic nephropathy patient; 3.It could significantly improved plasma viscosity for early diabetic nephropathy; 4. The clinical tests show the Xiaokelouweifang is safety.
