| Objection:To explore therapy and pharmic security of Tongbi granules (TBG) combined with methotrexate (MTX) for senile rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by clinical observation to patient with liver-kidney asthenia and silting syndrome.Methods:60 senile patients with RA were randomly divided into the testing group dosed with TBG and MTX(30 cases) and the comparative group dosed with MTX only (30 cases). The changs of index levels such as clinical symptom and signs, traditional chinese medical syndrome(TCMS), were observed and contrast before and after dosing, respectively.Results:The clinic therapy shows:the effective rate of TBG combined with MTX(testing group) on senile rheumatoid arthritis (RA) was 86.2%, distinctly exceeding one of MTX (comparative group) only(74.1%, p<0.05). Dosed for one, two and three months, the total efficiency were 75.9%,86.2%and 89.7%for testing group, being higher than 51.9%,70.4%and 74.1%for comparative group, respectively. The contemporaneous clinic effection and showed statistical difference (P<0.05或P<0.01) between two groups. Meantime, The testing group was better than comparative group in reducing TCMS and ameliorating body symptom (P<0.05或P<0.01, and index levels such as ESR and CRP(p<0.05). But no difference was found in taking from RF (P> 0.05). Lastly, in decreasing the dosage of incretion and adverse reactions, testing group clearly overmatched comparative group(p<0.05).Conclutions:TBG-MTX was proved to be curative and pharmic safety for senile rheumatoid arthritis (RA), liver-kidney asthenia and phlegmy silting syndrome,distinctly alleviating adverse reactions by methotrexate, which provided favorable sino-western mediacal treatment on senile rheumatoid RA. |
