Pharmacognosy Study Of Sarcopyramis Nepalensis Wall In Fujian

The Sarcopyramis nepalensis Wall was a Chinese herbal medicine that be used commonly in southern region of Fujian Province to protect the liver and lung.It used mainly for the treatment of heumatism,deafness tinnitus.The result showed that the original plant of Sarcopyramis nepalensis Wall is Melastomaceae Sarcopyramis nepalensis Wall.Sarcopyramis nepalensis Wall by investigating and comparing with the main literature and flora.The plant morphology,distribution and growth environment for Sarcopyramis nepalensis Wall were studied on bases of investigation.The Sarcopyramis bodinieri Levl.that a relatives species were identified.The investigation result indicated that Sarcopyramis nepalensis Wall was the main crude drugs in the Folk,At the same time,it’s characteristics in outside and inside were identificated.The physical and chemical methods were used to indicate the chemical constituents of the Sarcopyramis nepalensis Wall.The different extraction methods were studied for extracting process, the 95%ethanol with heat back is the best in all.Using silica gel chromatography,the petroleum ether/ethyl acetate as been the eluent,the two compounds were separated and purified,which were the 2,4-dimethyl benzyl alcohol and the quinone by the ultra-red adsorption spectroscopy and the TLC.
