? Objective To understand the incidence of anemia in premature infants during hospitalization. To explore the onset time and influencing factors of anemia in premature infants.? Methods A total of 237 premature infants with anemia who were treated in Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2015 to December 2015 were analyzed statistically, the correlation between the onset time of anemia in premature infants and fetal age, birth weight, delivery mode, placenta, umbilical cord, anemia during pregnancy, asphyxia, feeding methods, parenteral nutrition, infection, hemolysis, blood loss, coagulation disorders, blood collection, baseline hemoglobin level, minimum hemoglobin level, and degree of anemia was analyzed.? Results The incidences of premature anemia within one, two, three, and four weeks after birth was 57.8%,26.2%,10.1%,and 5.9%,respectively. The early anemia in premature infants development was usually caused by many factors together, such as infection and blood loss. The late anemia in premature infants usually caused by infection. The fetal age of premature infants with early anemia was statistically significantly lower than that of premature infants with late anemia(P<0. 05). The incidences of asphyxia, abrosia, parenteral nutrition, infection, blood loss, coagulation disorders in premature infants with early anemia were statistically significantly higher than those in premature infants with late anemia(P<0.05). The blood collection of premature infants with early anemia was statistically significantly higher than those in premature infants with late anemia(P<0.05).? Conclusion Anemia usually occurs in premature infants within one week after birth, asphyxia, abrosia, parenteral nutrition, infection, blood loss, coagulation disorders and higher blood collection are closely correlated with early anemia in premature infants.
