Objective:1) Esophagitis severity and time of occurrence after radiation therapy were observed by a clear Huangqifuzheng particles safety and efficacy in the prevention of radiation esophagitis;2) By detecting patients with plasma IL-1, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α levels after radiation esophagitis and when symptoms disappear, try to explore Astragalus righting particle radiation esophagitis prevention mechanism.Method: Esophageal cancer patients meet the criteria included 72 patients, using stratified random geometric designs were randomly divided into two groups: Treatment group of 36 patients received radiation therapy at the same time oral Huangqifuzheng particles(in strict accordance with the instructions of drug medication,10g/f,2f/d), until the end of radiotherapy or radiation esophagitis symptoms stop the medication; The control group of 36 patients received radiotherapy alone, and carefully recorded experimental data; When radiation esophagitis occurred and were collected after the symptoms disappear fasting venous blood 4ml, IL-6 levels were detected by ECL, IL-1, IL-10, TNF-α levels by ELISA test kit for detecting and recording data.Results: Included in the standard of 72 cases of esophageal cancer patients were successfully treated without loss and adverse events. The general characteristics of sex, age, pathological type of the two groups were not significantly different(P>0.05) statistically comparable; The number of treatment group and control group had no difference in radiation esophagitis by χ2 test(P=0.101>0.05), in the sense that it was no difference in the incidence of the two groups; Clinical treatment group and control group fractional composition by contrast χ2 test(P =0.006<0.05)difference was statistically significant, the number of cases of the two groups can be considered acute radiation esophagitis in the clinical classification significantly different; Onset of treatment group(12.07 ± 2.67 days) later than the onset of the control group(10.39 ± 2.28 days), and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05); Duration of the treatment group(23.39 ± 4.52 days) longer than the control group(27.09 ± 4.08 days), and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05); IL-1 levels(28.29 ±15.51pg/ml) after treatment group were significantly lower levels of IL-1(37.48 ± 17.86pg/ml),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05); IL-6 levels(19.71 ± 12.63pg/ml) after treatment was significantly lower than the IL-6 levels(45.78 ±18.44pg/ml) in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05); TNF-α levels(1.83 ± 1.02ng/ml) after treatment was significantly lower than that TNF-α levels(3.16 ± 1.15ng/ml) in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05); IL-10 levels(19.16 ± 5.07 pg/ml) After treatment, the IL-10 levels(16.32 ± 5.71pg/ml) was significantly higher, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).Coclusion: Esophagitis is the result of pro-inflammatory cytokines and anti-inflammatory factor interactions, Huangqifuzheng particles can reduce the inflammatory response by modulating proinflammatory cytokines and anti-inflammatory cytokines, it has a significant effect in preventing and treating radiation esophagitis.
