Objective:To evaluate the efficiency Endoscopic vidian neurectomy in the treatment of nasal mucosal hyperreactive rhinopathy with meta-analysis.Methods:An extensive search of the literature was performed in Pubmed and other available database from 1961 to December,2015.After filtering by the criteria of Cochrane Collaboration,a meta-analysis was conducted through the use of R3.2.3 and SPSS22 software.Results:According to the inclusion criterion,5 articles were enrolled.A total of 249 patients with nasal mucosal hyperreactive rhinopathy were enrolled,including 175 in bilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy group and 65 in unilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy goup.The postoperative improvement rate of the operation methods is 91%,also no matter unilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy or bilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy.The data of chi-square test between unilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy and bilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy isc2=0.554,P=0.457.Conclusion:The postoperative improvement after Endoscopic vidian neurectomy is obvious.And the postoperative improvement rate between unilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy and bilateral Endoscopic vidian neurectomy did not show any significance.
