Curative Effect Observation On The Treatment Of Stable Angina Pectoris With Shexiang Baoxin Pill

Objective:To observe curative effect and adverse reaction of Shexiang Baoxin Pill to stable angina pectoris by 24 months of clinical follow-up.Methods:A total of 114 cases of patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) in The first hospital of Shanxi medical university and The second hospital of Shanxi medical university from June 2012 to September 2013 were included in the study. They were in accordance with the inclusive criteria and exclusion criteria, and signed informed consent. Firstly, collect general information of all subjects. Secondly, they were treated with experimental drugs including Shexiang Baoxin Pill and placebo on the basis of standard treatment for CHD for 24 month. To obtain curative effect including the frequency of angina attacks, the consumption of Nitroglycerin Tablets and cardiac event rates, and safety evaluation including liver function index(ALT,AST) and renal function index(Urea, CRE) respectively in 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months after taking drugs. Data were unblended at the end of follow-up, and divided into the treatment group and the placebo group.Results:To all subjects, the frequency of angina attacks and the consumption of Nitroglycerin Tablets showed a trend of decrease in 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months after treatment as compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).Compared to the placebo group, thefrequency of angina attacks and the consumption of Nitroglycerin Tablets were much less in the treatment group at the same period(P<0.05).Compared to the placebo group, the rehospitalization frequency of angina attacks and the frequency of myocardial infarction were much less(P<0.05) and the frequency of sudden death had no obvious difference(P>0.05) in the treatment group. Compared to the placebo group, liver function index(ALT,AST) and renal function index(BUN,CRE)had no obvious difference in the treatment group(P>0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of standard treatment for CHD, Shexiang Baoxin Pill could decrease the frequency of angina attacks, the consumption of Nitroglycerin Tablets and cardiac event, to liver function index and renal function index had no obvious influence with good safety.
