Effects Of Shexiang Baoxin Pill On Patients With Coronary Heart Disease And Angina Pectoris And Its Influence On Long-term Cardiac Events

Objective:Objective To observe the effects of Shexiang Baoxin Pill on Patients with coronary heart disease and angina Pectoris and its influence on long-term cardiac events.Methods:120 Patients with coronary heart disease and angina Pectoris are randomly divided into the observed grou P and the reference grou P, with 60 in each. Both grou Ps are treated with routine western medicines, like as Pirin, nitrate agent, beta-blockers, statins. Besides,the observed grou P take two Shexiang Baoxin Pills each time, three times a day. Then, the two grou Ps are under observation for 18 months.Results:There exist significant differences between the two grou Ps in blood biochemical indexes(TC, TG, LDL-C, contractinogen), hemorheology, total ischemia burden and heart-related incidents(angina Pectoris frequency, consum Ption of glycery trinitrate,Possibility of being hos Pitalized because of angina Pectoris, myocardial infarction, cardiac shock and sudden death and so on)(P<0.05).Conclusions:Shexiang Baoxin Pills can bring down the content of TG, TC LDL-C and contractinogen in blood and blood viscosity, cut down the total ischemia burden of Patientswith coronary heart disease and angina Pectoris and decrease the frequency of long-term heart-related incidents.
