Hepatoma is a high mortality rate of the disease. Thermal ablation technique is a means of treatment of liver cancer in clinic. However, the traditional thermal ablation of liver cancer biopsy surgery only for smaller diameter tumor treatment, and conventional surgery requires the doctor have high experience. To overcome these limitations, building a robot thermal ablation system for liver cancer is an effective solution. Preoperative planning system thermal ablation of liver cancer is an important component of surgical robot system. This paper discusses the thermal ablation Hepatoma robotic surgery technique before surgery planning system to be used in the background, compared the advantages and disadvantages of the current existence of the related art, select or make the system suitable technical solutions. First, we analyzed the workflow of the entire system, we need to use a brief introduction of the CT image data file format. Second, analysis of the current strengths and weaknesses of the main image segmentation algorithm based on the level set method for image segmentation method is proposed herein system. The current three-dimensional reconstruction of the main technologies are compared, select the marching cubes algorithm as the three-dimensional reconstruction algorithm of this system, and the appropriate action to optimize the reconstruction results. Also this paper surgical approach for thermal ablation Hepatoma surgery robot system planning algorithm and verified. Based on the above knowledge and related open source components we have developed preoperative planning system for thermal ablation Hepatoma robotic surgery. our system meets the need of surgery preoperative planning system for Robotic liver cancer ablation surgical system, physicians need only a small amount of interaction can generate better surgical path. It also provides multi-angle CT browsing, image segmentation, image reconstruction and other functions, in order to reduce the burden on doctors operate.
