Preliminary Analysis Of Sex Hormone Levels In Patients With Hyperthyroidism In Xining

Objective: At present, domestic and foreign scholars have reported hyperthyroidism(Hyperthyroidism, referred to as hyperthyroidism) patients with sex hormone levels will increase, but the results are not consistent. This paper will discuss the changes of sex hormones in patients with hyperthyroidism and its clinical significance in Xining area.Methods: 240 cases of patients with hyperthyroidism and normal healthy people were detected by radioimmunoassay, and compared with the normal control group.Results:1 Each hyperthyroidism group and control group in terms of age, sex, BMI, SBP, DBP, FPG, TC, LDL, HDL had no significant difference(P > 0.05). 2 compared with testosterone(T)(22.57±9.02ng/ml)and estradiol(E2)(15.73±5.19pg/ml)in control group,(29.55±13.94ng/ml),E2(38.52±17.50pg/ml) in male hyperthyroidism group increased significantly.The difference of hyperthyroid group compared with normal control group had statistical significance(P< 0.05). And follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone(LH), prolactin(PRL) in male hyperthyroidism group were compared with the control group, the difference is not obvious, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Compared with follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)(10.49±5.37 m IU/ml), luteinizing(LH)(12.18±6.22 m IU/ml), testosterone(T)(0.56±0.26ng/ml), estradiol(E2)(110.19±43.63pg/ml)and prolactin(PRL)(285.16±104.43 u IU/ml)in the control group,FSH(18.36±9.03 m IU/ml), LH(21.10±9.93 m IU/ml),T(1.94±1.17 ng/ml),E2(172.56±106.38pg/ml),PRL(420.70±164.36 u IU/ml)in female hyperthyroidism group was significantly elevated. The difference is statistical significance(P<0.05).3 Han nationality, Hui nationality and Tibetan nationality patients with hyperthyroidism were not significantly different(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1 male patients with hyperthyroidism in Xining area,the level of testosterone(T) and estradiol(E2) was significantly higher than that of the healthy people in the area. 2 female patients with hyperthyroidism in Xining area,the level of promote follicle stimulating prime(FSH), luteinizing prime(LH), testosterone(T),estradiol(E2) and prolactin(PRL) than those in healthy people increased significantly. 3 thyroid hormone and sex hormone are closely related,monitoring the level of serum sex hormone in patients with hyperthyroidism is one of the important indicators to monitor the change of thyroid function in patients with hyperthyroidism. 4 in this study,the sex hormone index hyperthyroidism patients among different nation groups in Xining area had no difference.
