Objective: By using CAP and SIR to acess CI recipients of prelingual deaf and explore the difference between the time of implanting and the score of CAP and SIR. Applying Chinese Version of CAP to assess CI recipients of prelingual deaf and test the reliability of Chinese Version of CAP. By using NCIQ to acess the life quality of CI recipients and expole the difference between the situation of hearing-aid and the score of NCIQ. Method: 1、50 CI recipients of prelingual deaf were interviewed by a speech therapist using CAP and SIR. 2、50 CI recipients of prelingual deaf were interviewed by a parent and a speech therapist using Chinese Version of CAP. Kappa coefficient analysis was applied to test the reliability of Chinese Version of CAP. 3、13 CI recipients of prelingual deaf were interviewed by a speech therapist using NCIQ. Result: 1、40 CI recipients of prelingual CAP and SIR accessing score was found significant correlation with time of implanting. 2、35 of the 50 cases were found completely coincident(70%), 12 cases were one category different(24%), 3 cases were 2 categories different(6%). Kappa coefficient was 0.624. 3、13 CI recipients of prelingual deaf were interviewed NCIQ accessing score was found significant correlation with the using of hearing-aid. Conclusion: 1 、 Cochlea implanting can developo the hearing and auditory of prelingual deaf, the time of implanting show significant correlation with the score of CAP and SIR. 2、Chinese Version of CAP was found reliable and useful to evaluate auditory performance of prelingual deaf pediatric after cochlear implantation. 3、Cochlea implanting can developo the life quality of prelingual deaf, hearing-aid before implanting show significant correlation with the score of NCIQ.
