Objective:To observe the auditory rehabilitation of the Han ethnic prelingually deafened children within one year after cochlear implantation and to provide references for rehabilitation training.Methods:Fifty-nine han ethnic prelingually deaf children with cochlear implanted received the sound field hearing threshold test and speech recognition tests which was prior to implanting, and at 1,6,12 months after operations were evaluated. All the data were analyzed by statistics software SPSS 17.0. We compare the differences of the patients who are different groups with repeated measure data of ANOVA,then pairwise comparison between multiple samples with Bonferroni method, for the use of four time points between groups on the multivariate analysis of variance.Results:l.The average hearing threshold test outcomes of entire patients increased significantly as time went by in the sound field.By repeated measures analysis of variance, the average hearing threshold test outcomes are distinct at different times(P<0.01).The average hearing threshold test outcome in the sound field showed no significant difference(P>0.05) at 6 months and 12months after operations, the other at each time the differences were statistically significant.2.There was no significant difference in average hearing threshold test outcomes between different genders (P>0.05),as well as different implant ages, different inner ear structures, the different rehabilitation model before operation.3.The auditory abilities outcomes of entire hearing-impaired children with CIs increased significantly as time went by(P<0.01).4.There was significant difference in auditory abilities outcomes between different implant ages(P<0.05),as well as different structures of inner ear,the different rehabilitation model before operation, but the difference of genders was not statistically significant (P>0.05).5.The older group(>3 years) rehabilitation outcomes of children’s auditory abilities were higher than younger age group(<3 years),with the extension of postoperative recovery time, the speed of older group is gradually slower than younger age groups in auditory rehabilitation.6.The auditory abilities of LVAS group were better than the normal group at different time(before operations, and 1,6months after operations),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),while the two group was no statistically significant difference at 12months after operations(P>0.05).7.The institutional rehabilitation group was better than the family training group in auditory abilities outcome, the difference of two groups at each time was statistically significant(P <0.01).Conclusion:After implantation, the children’s auditory abilities of reconstruction and rehabilitation developed rapidly. with increasing training time. The earlier prelingually hearing-impaired children with cochlear implanted, the auditory ability improved faster, the better rehabilitation. The auditory ability can be relatively stable at least after 12 months of training. The average hearing threshold outcomes in sound field test and the outcome of auditory abilities were shown a significance for guidance to auditory rehabilitation training of hearing-impaired children with CIs.
