The Study Of Medical Humanities Connotation Of Medical Quality

According to the general requirements and objectives of the national medical health system reform in 2009, we constructed the evaluation index system of medical service quality preliminarily based on Maslow’s theory of hierarchy of needs, Modern medical pattern, and Human-oriented theory. The objective of the research was to provide the form of index system to study the humanistic contents of the quality of medical service. Through the review of relevant researches on the contents and evaluation index system of medical quality, we preliminarily summarized the contents of the medical quality which include the four aspects of medical security, medical technology, medical service and economy, and medical humanities is involved in the medical service. At present, there is a widespread phenomenon of "heavy technology, light humanities" in the hospital medical service. The medical personnel pay more attention to the biological technical content associated with the disease and ignore the ethical care for patients, which may be one of the important factors that lead to their conflicts with patients. Therefore, it is of great significance to construct the contents of humanistic service to improve the quality of medical service, promote the medical quality and get medical workers’ more concerns of medical humanities.The research methods included the literature review method, Delphy expert consultation method and mathematical statistics method. We summarized the medical humanities contents of medical quality through the literature review, combined with the relevant theory and evaluation guide and draft three level index on this basis. The Likert five score method was used to set the importance of judgments of all indicators and make the Delphy expert consultation questionnaire. We selected the experts who had relevant theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience, repeated the consultation process until the expert opinions were in accord with each other. Finally, the knowledge of mathematical statistics was used to analyze the results. The results were as follows:1. It was showed that experts were good respectives and authoritative according to the qualitative analysis of the expert’s basic information. 2. In Delphy expert consultation, the recovery rate of the first round of questionnaires was 88%, and the recovery rate of the second round of questionnaires of 100%, which indicated that experts reacted to the study with enthusiasm. The Crown Bach coefficient was 0.943, which indicated that the questionnaire had high reliability. 3. The index system of the medical humanities quality of medical has been constructed preliminarily, including 4 fist-level indicators, 12 secondary indicators and 49 third-level indicators. 4. We calculated weight and score of every index according to the experts’ opinions about the importance of each index. 5. We illustrated and summarized the contents of medical humanistic service of medical quality.Qualitative and quantitative methods were used in the research and the evaluation index system of hospital medical quality was established to explore the medical humanities contents of quality of medical service finally, which included the patient rights, medical workers’ courtesy in their medical service, hospital culture and medical service process.
