Objective:1.In order to explore the incidence of PE in patients with MCVT,we analyzed the medical records of the MCVT patients who have received treatment in the Vascular surgery Department of Shanxi Da Yi Hospital in a retrospective study method.2. Analyzing the high risk factors for PE associateed with MCVT,we can be able to take measures to reduce the incidence incidence of PE in MCVT patients.3.At the same time,we hope to provide the ideas for treating and managing the MCVT patients.Methods276 MCVT patients were collected between November 2011 and November 2015 in the Vascular surgery Department of Shanxi Da Yi Hospital,in which 31 MCVT patients developed into PE.all patients with MCVT were examined by Color Doppler Flow Imaging, and all PE associated MCVT patients were diagnosed by CT angiography or lung ventilation/perfusion scans. The following information were collected in the object of study, including the general clinical characteristics : Age, gender, operation or braking, traumaorfracture, tumor, presence of anticoagulant therapy.laboratory examination:cholesterol,triglycerides,High-density lipoprotein, homocysteine.Disease characteristics:Muscular Calf Vein Thrombosis in the distribution of limb, Muscular Calf Vein Thrombosis in the distribution of the muscle. All the data was analyzed by IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 and managed by Excel 2007.The general clinical characteristics of the patients such as age≥60,associated with tumour,no anticoagulation therapy,MCVT in soleus venous plexus has significant statistical significance, which were risk factors for MCVT developing into PE.Other clinical features, such as gender, surgery or braking, trauma or fracture, lipid levels(TG,HDL, Cho), homocysteine, muscular calf vein thrombosis in the distribution of limb between pulmonary embolism group and the control group had no statistical significance(P > 0.05), which were not risk factors for MCVT developing into PE.The above-mentioned four risk factors were included in the multivariable logistic regression analysis to derive adjusted risk of PE in this population of MCVT patients. We found that the independent risk factors for MCVT developing into PE are age≥60(OR=3.58) and no anticoagulation therapy(OR = 5.2)(P < 0.05);tumor and MCVT in soleus venous plexus in the Logistic regression analysis have no statistical difference(P > 0.05), which aren’t the independent risk factors for MCVT developing into PE。ResultsConclusion1. In this study, the incidence of MCVT developing into PE between November2011 and November 2015 in the Vascular surgery Department of Shanxi Da Yi Hospital is about 11.2%.2. In the single factor analysis, older 、MCVT Patients with tumour or、thrombosis in soleus muscle venous plexus 、no anticoagulation therapy are the high risk factors for MCVT developing into PE.3. In the multivariable logistic regression analysis, older and no anticoagulation therapy are the independent risk factors for MCVT developing into PE.
