Objective: Ascertain the average level of serum total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), high-density-lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c) and low-density-lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) of the residents in Lin Xia state, Gansu province by the epidemiological investigation, Analyze the influence factors of hyperlipidemia. Methods: Adopt the method of randomized cluster sampling survey, select people over 20 years old then draw blood from median cubital vein and fill in questionnaire.Remove the outliers then record the data into spss19.0 package and statistical analyze the data. Results: 1195 people are selected in after eliminate abnormal data,The simple show that the average level of serum total cholesterol(TC) is 1.44±0.95mmol/L, triglycerides(TG) is 4.36±0.93mmol/L, high-density-lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c) is 3.16±0.89mmol/L, low-density-lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) is1.97±0.68mmol/L. Based on Chinese guidelines on prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia in adults, The morbidity rate of hyperlipemia is 41.1%, the standardized rate is 27.0%,the morbidity rate of han population is 23.4%, the hui population is 83.4%, the morbidity rate of male is 41.56%, the female is 40.78%, the morbidity rate of each age is 7.4%、33.6%、42.8%、42.1%、50.6%、48.8%. Analyze the influence factors of hyperlipidemia for each nationality, the influence factors of han nationality are smoking, eating meat, alcohol drinking, hypertension, WHR, obesity, period of highest weight, the influence factors of hui nationality are eating meat, hypertension, WHR, obesity, period of highest weight. Conclusion The morbidity rate of hyperlipidemia is high and it is different between in two nationalities, also the serum lipid level and the influence factors. There is no difference about the morbidity rate of hyperlipidemia between young and middle-aged people, but it is obviously increased in elderly female, and the morbidity rate is positively related with the age.
