Objective: To investigate the hearing loss and the possible reasons cause hearing loss in people who≥45 years old in Tianjin Jixian natural villages, to provide data for deafness of the seniors the strategies of drawing up the prevention and treatment. Method: 2018 people over 45 years old were investigated in 18 village in Jixian Tianjin to the questionnaire survey, hearing test, to check of blood pressure, fasting blood-glucose, blood fat. Questionnaire survey including 6 parts ①General condition: Including name, gender, age, degree of education, the income of every month, occupation and so on. ②Environment and special factors:Including living environment, working condition, noise exposure history, ototoxicity drug contact history, etc;③History and genetic history of ear: including history of otitis media, ear trauma history, relatives of the hearing, etc; ④Habits and customs:including drinking, smoking, sleep status, mood problems, and so on; ⑤CVD(cardiovascular disease):hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, and stroke(ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke), coronary heart disease, and so on. ⑥Hearing loss intervention: medication, hearing-aid in the selection and cochlear implant. To test 125、250、500、1000、2000、3000、4000、and 8000 Hz air conduction audibility threshold and 250、500、1000、2000、4000Hz bone conduction audibility threshold by the danish Otmetrics company’otmetrics itera pure tone audiometer. Get the better ear 500、1000、2000、4000 Hz average hearing threshold as the average hearing threshold. Take the average hearing threshold >25d B as the judgment criteria of hearing loss and 8000 Hz auditory threshold(i.e., high frequency hearing threshold). the survey projects(include: age, gender, educational level, income level, smoking, drinking, passive smoking, hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, and stroke, coronary heart disease) as the independent variables, using SPSS19.0 Χ2 test, T test variance test and Logistic regression analysis.Result::1、Among≥45 years old people, the normal hearing was 1168cases(57.88%), The number of hearing loss was 850 cases(42.12%),Mild hearing loss 636 cases(31.52%), moderate hearing loss is 189 cases(9.36%), severe hearing loss18 cases(0.89%), extremely severe hearing loss is 7 cases(0.35%).In the survey population, This paper shows that the hearing loss is give priority to mild hearing loss. 2、Single factor analysis:as the ager, the prevalence of hearing loss is increased. High income and high-cultural level, the hearing loss prevalence is low, the prevalence of hearing loss of male was significantly higher than female. Smoking, drinking, passive smoking, hypertension, hyperglycemia, stroke, coronary heart disease can affect the prevalence of hearing loss. High frequency hearing threshold of the single factor analysis showed that age, gender, smoking, passive smoking, long-term massively drink alcohol affects the high frequency hearing. 3、The multi-factor analysis 1)There are three factors affects the prevalence of hearing loss:age、genger、degree of education. 2)、There are two factors affects the 8k Hz audibility threshold:age、genger. Conclusion:In this study, Among people who≥45 years old, The number of hearing loss was42.12%. As the growth of the age, the prevalence of hearing loss increased.High income and high-cultural, slightly lower the prevalence of hearing loss, the prevalence of hearing loss of male was significantly higher than female.Passive smoking, drinking, smoking, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, stroke, coronary heart disease is the related factors of hearing loss.As the growth of the age, the higher the mean value of high frequency hearing threshold.the high frequency hearing threshold of the men higher than women, passive smoking, drinking, smoking, stroke is the related factors of audibility threshold.
