Objective: sound localization test, which is the ability of human realizing the place of the sound. some people that have hearing loss is poor in realizing the place and understand the content of the sound . after the rise of the hearing aids , some hearing loss person have higher hearing, but the ability of localization weather can be improved is still a dispute. some liberates hold out hearing aids can improve the ability of localization.Methods: now, we test some volunteers to evaluate the ability in the horizontal after they have a hearing aid with the sound localization apparatus which we design and facture by ourselves.Results: we test 40 hearing loss person . of them 20 have one hearing aids , the other have two. the result indicate that the person have one hearing aid have poorer localization ability (p<0.05), and the persons having two hearing aids can preserve the ability of localization.Conclusion: Then we can draw a conclusion that hearing loss person who have a hearing aids can better understand the content, but they the ability of localization is descended. At the same time, it give a cue to our clinic doctor it is necessary to have two hearing aids and worthy of the costs for two ear hearing loss person to increasethe quality of the sound.
