Purpose:To observe the serum 25(OH)D3 and other factors in type 2 diabetes patients with 3 TCM syndromes in order to unreval the correlation between different TCM syndromes of Type 2 diabetes and the effect of 25(OH)D3 on Patients with Lower Extremity Atherosclerotic Disease. Finally, to provide reference and guidance for clinicians By means of analyzing the association between the serum 25(OH)D3 value and Lower Extremity Atherosclerotic Disease. Methods:Selected in Jiangsu Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were one hundred and fifty-two cases diagnosed with T2DM.The patients were divided into Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome, Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome, Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome through Chinese Medicine of the Standard for diabetes.Factors as age,the course of diseade, fasting blood sugar, fasting plasma c-peptide,glycated hemoglobin,25(OH)D3,the incidence of LEAD,blood lipids were analysed. All the data taken were expressed in average value±standard deviation and processed by SPSS 19.0 Analysis. Results: ①Dficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome contained most of the patients in all one hundred and fifty-two cases.with sixty-nine cases, accounting for 45.40%.Ranked second and third were Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome and Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome, with fourty-seven and thirty-six cases, accounting for 30.90% and 23.70% respectively.②Gender:There was no difference between 3 TCM syndromes compared in terms of gender(P>0.05).③Age:Significant difference was shown between 3 TCM syndromes in terms of age(P<0.01).Patients with Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome were significantly older than those with Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome, and Patients with Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome were significantly older than those with Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome(P<0.05).④The course of disease:Significant difference was shown between 3 TCM syndromes in terms of course of disease(P<0.01).The course of disease in Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome was significantly higher than that in Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome, and course of disease in Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome was significantly higher than that in Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome(P<0.05). ⑤There was no difference between 3 TCM syndromes compared in terms of fasting plasma C-peptide,glycated hemoglobin(P>0.05),while significant difference was shown between 3 TCM syndromes in terms of Fasting blood sugar(P<0.01),25(OH)D3 value(P<0.01).The value of FBG in Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome was much higher than that in other 2 syndromes(P<0.05).The value of 25(OH)D3 in Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome was significantly higher than that in Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome, and the value of 25(OH)D3 in Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome was significantly higher than that in Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome(P<0.05).⑥There was a certain correlation between the incidence of LEAD and 3 TCM syndromes.⑦It showed significant difference between the LEAD group and NLEAD group in terms of fasting blood sugar, the course of disease,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,25(OH)D3 (P<0.05).The value of the fomer three in LEAD group is much higher than that in NLEAD group, while the serum 25(OH)D3 value is much lower in LEAD group than that in NLEAD group.Conclusion:①Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome contained most of the patients.Ranked second and third were Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome and Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome.②Type 2 diabetes patients were more likely to be diagnosed as Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome early in the disease, while in the middle and advanced disease they were more likely to be diagnosed as Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome and Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome.③The age and course of disease increased as the TCM syndrome changed from Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome, Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome to Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome. ④3 TCM syndromes had no correlation with gender, fasting plasma C-peptide, glycated hemoglobin in type 2 diabetes patients in the studies.⑤25(OH)D3 value decreased as the TCM syndrome changed from Deficiency of Yin and Excessive Heat Syndrome, Deficiency of Qi and Yin Syndrome to Deficiency of both Yin and Yang with Blood Stasis and Water Retention Syndrome.⑥25(OH)D3 turned out to be the protective factor for LEAD,while the course of disease, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol turned out to be risk factors for LEAD disease.
