ObjectiveThis study was designed to chronic diarrhea Deficiency Syndrome as the research object, the use of Chinese instructors with experience side foot bath treatment of chronic diarrhea (Deficiency Syndrome) experience and clinical efficacy, provide conditions for further development of new methods of treatment of this disease.MethodsWe will meet the diagnostic criteria of 60 patients with chronic diarrhea Deficiency Syndrome included randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group and the control group (30 cases). Treatment group received Wenzhong Yue intestinal side decoction,1/day, Shuijianbi, morning and evening hours; with traditional Chinese foot bath,1 times/day. The control group were given montmorillonite (Smecta) oral,3g/times,3 times/day. Both groups were evaluated after 4 weeks of treatment efficacy were followed up for 4 weeks after the end of treatment.Results1. Integrated effect:Experimental group of 30 cases, clinical recovery in 4 cases,19 cases were markedly effective in 5 cases,2 cases, markedly effective rate was 73.33%, the total effective rate was 93.33%; control group of 30 cases,2 cases of clinical recovery, effective 10 cases,10 cases,8 cases, markedly effective rate was 40.00%, the total effective rate was 73.33%; the total efficiency of the treatment group than the control group (93.33% vs73.33%, P<0.05).2. The main clinical symptoms:in the group:two main symptoms were improved after treatment, (P<0.05); between the two groups:After treatment, the stool diarrhea and chills symptoms than the control group (P<0.05).3. Secondary clinical symptoms:In the group:the test group each minor symptoms were improved after treatment compared with before treatment (P<0.05); the control group abdominal fullness, bloating and abdominal pain improved significantly (P<0.05), and loss of appetite, lassitude pain symptoms was not obvious (P> 0.05). Between the two groups: the experimental group for loss of appetite, waist and knee pain symptoms than the control group (P<0.05), two for abdominal fullness, bloating and abdominal pain improved considerably (P> 0.05).4. Safety Assessment:No adverse reaction was found after treatment, each security test indicators before and after treatment were not unusual.5. Long-term follow-up:After 4 weeks of treatment relapse rates in treatment group than the control group (7.14% vs40.91%, P<0.05).ConclusionsWenzhong Yue intestinal side with traditional Chinese foot bath treatment Deficiency Type of chronic diarrhea have a good effect, high security, worthy of clinical application. |
