Objective:To investigate the effects that regulating blood lipid and controling inflammation of moxa-moxibustion Shenque acupoint on treating hyperlipemia mice. By detecting the index of blood lipid and the level of serum inflammatory factors, to further explore the relevancy between abnormal blood lipid metabolism and inflammatory response, So as to discuss the prophylaxis and treatment of atherosclerosis and other chronic inflammatory diseases from the perspective of regulating lipid and controling inflammation.Methods:40 male C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into normal group, model group, moxa-moxibustion group and medicine group,10 rats in each group. The normal group was given full diet, the other groups were given high fat diet for 6 weeks to model hyperlipidemia mice. Moxa-moxibustion group received 10 min moxa-moxibustion on Shenque point every day; The drug group with lovastatin (10mg/kg daily) suspension by gavage, two groups both were treated for two weeks; the normal group and model group.were not given special treatment. After treatment, serum ELIAS A colorimetric method was used for detecting the content of serum total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG), double antibody sandwich method was used for detecting the level of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-10 (IL-10), tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a), toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) and serum endothelin-1 (ET-1)。Results:①Serum lipid parameter:the serum TC, TG levels of model group mice were significantly higher than normal group, and the difference was significant(P<0.01), it means that the molding was successful. The serum TC, TG levels of moxa-moxibustion group and medicine group mice were significantly lower than the model group, and the difference was significant (P<0.01). The TC, TG levels of moxa-moxibustion group and medicine group were no statistic difference (P values were P=0.248, P=0.182).②serum inflammatory indexes:compared with the model group, the serum IL-6, TNF-a, TLR2, ET-1 levels of moxa-moxibustion group and medicine group reduced significantly (P< 0.05), the serum IL-10 levels were risen(P<0.05), and the difference is significant. In the respect of reducing the level of serum IL-6 and rising the level of serum IL 10, moxa-moxibustion group is superior to the medicine group, but the difference was no statistical significance (P values were P=0.668, P=1.000). In the respect of reducing the level of TNF-a, TLR2, the medicine group is superior to the moxa-moxibustion group, but the difference was no statistical significance (P values were P=0.517, P=0.380). In the respect of reducing the level of ET-1, there is no statistical significance between the medicine group and moxa-moxibustion group (P=0.959).Conclusion:Moxa-moxibustion on Shenque point of hyperlipidemia can play a good role in regulating serum and controling inflammation. It can reduce the level of serum lipid, but also can reduce serum TNF-α, IL-6, TLR2, ET-1 levels of inflammatory factors and increase the level of anti-inflammatory cytokine. Moxa-moxibustion through warming collaterals effect regulating lipid and controling inflammation, has a good preventive and therapeutic effect on atherosclerosis and other chronic inflammatory diseases.
