Cervical-shoulder syndrome was a generic term about corresponding symptoms, such as the pain on neck and shoulder, upper limb radiating pain, the limitation of motion on neck and shoulder. It was the frequently-occurring disease, common disease in the elderly originally. Accompanying the accelerating rhythm and the improved complexity of social work, this syndrome’s occurrence had a trend of getting younger. The excessive use of air conditioning, long-term bending over desk, incorrect posture applications of mobile phone, computer, made the rising incidence of the disease which influenced people’s life and work seriously. It has a very important clinical significance to strengthen the clinical research on cervical-shoulder syndrome and find a safe and effective treatment.ObjectiveThrough the standardized research, clinical efficacy and objective comparison of the data between Long’s bonesetting of shaking shoulder obliquely and electro-acupuncture therapy to provide the scientific application data of the Long’s bonesetting in treating cervical-shoulder syndrome. Clearing and definiting the treatment characteristics and exploring its operating specifications of Long’s bonesetting so as to provide a theoretical supportion for the optimization and combination of clinical treatment in cervical-shoulder syndrome.Methods60 cases of cervical-shoulder syndrome were randomly divided into two groups of 30 people. The microwave treatment was used as a basic treatment to all the patients. The treatment group were used by Long’s bonesetting of shaking shoulder obliquely, the control group were treated with electro-acupuncture therapy, comparing the clinical efficacy between two groups after two courses of treatment.60 patients were calculated by the visual analogue scale pain score(VAS) and the Northwick Park neckpain scale (NPQ) before the experiment and after two courses of treatment, to compare two groups’clinical efficacy after entire treatment. Using the statistical tests finally to evaluate and analysis comprehensively whether the test result has statistical significance.ResuIts(1) 60 patients who were accorded with the inclusion criteria and 60 cases were completed actually. After two courses of treatment, in the aspect of relieving pain and improving clinical symptoms before and after treatment within the group, differences were statistically significant in VAS scores and NPQ scores(P<0.05), which means these two kinds of treatment were effective. Comparing the final scores of VAS and NPQ between two groups after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), which indicated that the group of shaking manipulation on shoulder obliquely is better than electro-acupuncture group. (2) 30 cases in the treatment group, 12 cases were cured, the total effective rate was 93.33%; 30 cases in the control group,2 cases were cured, the total effective rate was 80.00%. Comparing the clinical efficacy between two groups after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), which meant that the treatment group curative effect is superior to the control group.ConclusionThis study was based on scientific, objective and rigorous clinical data to evaluate clinical curative effect of Long’s bonesetting by shaking shoulder obliquely, which made the results more reliable. In addition, the Long’s bonesetting of shaking shoulder obliquely had the features of simpleness, safety and effectivity, which is worth promoting and applying on clinic.
