Observing Clinical ’Activating Blood And Eliminating Dampness’ Treatment To Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of activating blood and eliminating dampness to chronic pelvic pain syndrome. It proposed that the chronic pelvic pain syndrome is mainly based upon the pathogenesis of blood stasis, turbid dampness block. And it established the vent San evil is real pain therapeutic method. In this dissertation, the experience prescription of Professor Xinping Li was adopted to verify the above therapeutic method, Professor Xinping Li is the tutor of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese medicine first affiliated hospital Urology department. This dissertation is divided into four parts.ObjectiveInvestigating the effect of activating blood and eliminating dampness to the treatment of chronic pelvic pain syndrome, and testify that the pain is caused by blood stasis and the turbid dampness meridians block. Also compare the activating blood and eliminating dampness therapy with simple blood circulation activating to remove blood stasis therapy.MethodsCollecting 40 cases of chronic pelvic pain syndrome by adopting the classification stander from Xie Tong’s "Prostate surgery", then divide those cases equally into two different group which are treatment and control group. In the treatment group Professor Xinping Li’s experience prescription will be used for treatment; with regard to the control group, Qianlietongyu capsules will be used. After four weeks of treatment, collecting the statistic according to the US National Institute of Health chronic prostatitis symptom, and evaluate the curative effect. ResultsTreatment group:5 cases were cured,9 cases were significantly effective,5 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective, the total effective rate is 95%(19/20), it reduce the patient NIH-CPSI total score, and there is significant difference when compared it with untreated (P< 0.05) ; Control group:1 case was cured,4 cases were significantly effective,10 cases were effective and 5 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate is 75%(15/20), there is no significant statistical difference between the treatment and control group by the rank sum test, the significant efficiency is 25%(5/20), there is significant statistical difference between the treatment and control group by X2 analysis. There is no serious adverse reactions in patients during treatment.ConclusionTreatment of activating blood and eliminating dampness to chronic pelvic pain syndrome is remarkable, it can obviously improve urinary symptoms, improve the quality of life, and there is no serious adverse reaction, it indicated that the main therapy of chronic pelvic pain syndrome should be the activating blood and eliminating dampness therapy, the clinical effects of it is significantly better than the blood flow activation and remove blood stasis therapy.
