The Study Of Periumbilical Four Acupuncture Point With Salt Partitioned Moxibustion For The Treatment Of Chronic Urticaria

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of periumbilical four acupuncture point plus salt partitioned moxibustion at chronic urticarial, and its influence on patients quality of life, to Investigate the better clinical treatment of of chronic urticarial.Methods60 patients with conform to the standard of diagnosis of chronic urticarial were Included in the study,60 patients were randomly divided into two groups, experimental group with 30 patients received the treatment of acupuncture periumbilical four point plus salt partitioned moxibustion, the control group with 30 cases received traditional acupuncture. Both groups received alternate-day therapy,3 times a week,4 weeks for 1 course of treatment, two period of treatment in all. Evaluated urticaria activity score (UAS7) at the first week, the 4th week,8th week, evaluation Dermatology life quality scale (DLQI) and chronic urticaria life quality scale (CU-Q2oL) before treatment and at the end of 8 weeks. Using SPSS 22.0 statistical software for statistical analysis, measurement data using t test, the comparison of composition ratio, ratio between count data set with 2 test, rank data with rank sum test,P<0.05 for the difference was statistically significant.Resultsthere were no significant differences between the two groups of patients with the basic information including age, sex, course of comparison, there were no significant differences between the two groups of UAS7 in the first week treatment and the 4th week treatment, but there were significant differences in the 8th week treatment.Two groups of curative effect is no statistical difference after 4 weeks treatment, but there were significant differences after 8weeks treatment. In the experimental group,7 cases were cured,14 cases had marked improvement,7 cases had improvement,2 case was ineffective, total effective rate was 93.3%, in the control group,3 cases were cured,6 cases had marked improvement,15 cases had improvement,6 case was ineffective, total effective rate was 80%.There were no significant differences between the two groups of DLQI and CU-Q2oL before treatment. After teeatment, there were significant differences between the two groups of DLQI, there were significant differences between the two groups of CU-Q2oL. The quality of life of the patients are obviously improved after the treatment, the experimental group than the control group improved more significantly (P<0.05).ConclusionThis study showed good effects with acupuncture with salt partitioned moxibustion to treating chronic urticarial, with high safety, for patients with clinical symptoms and life quality were improved. The experimental group showed better Clinical curative effect and better improve on the patient’s quality of life.
