PCOS Patients With Different TCM Syndrome Types Of Relevance To The Quality Of Life

ObjectiveThrough clinical observation, this study to investigate the quality of life of patients with PCOS, the correlation between TCM syndrome type and to provide better clinical treatment in patients with PCOS and regulating methods, improve the quality of life.MethodsWe adopt the contrast between groups in the hospital between January 2015 and March 2015 in the first affiliated hospital of guangzhou university of TCM gynecology outpatient, filter into the group a total of 118 patients, according to the TCM syndrome differentiation standard is divided into kidney deficiency, and qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, phlegm wet, liver depression syndrome fire four categories. Through the questionnaire survey form to collect the basic information of the patients with syndrome differentiation, TCM four diagnostic information classification, the distribution characteristics of different syndrome types were compared. Use the specificity of the PCOS scale revision:polycystic Ovary Syndrome Questionnaire revised edition (Modified Polysystic Ovary Syndrome Health Related Questionnaire, hereinafter referred to as MPCOSQ), the Questionnaire contains a mood, body hair, body weight, infertility, menstruation, acne, a total of six areas, divided into 30 items, each item has seven points rating, seven points represent the quality of life of the ideal,1 point represents the worst quality of life, the lower the score indicates that patients to the attention of this dimension is higher. Let the patients quality of life scores, compare different syndrome types of PCOS patients quality of life score difference.Results1. This study kidney deficiency group of 53 cases, accounting for 44.92% of the total cases, phlegmy wet group 29 cases, accounting for 24.58% of the total cases, liver depression group of 22 cases of fire, accounting for 18.64% of the total cases,14 cases of qi and blood stasis group, accounting for 11.89% of the total cases. By the statistical tests, each card type distribution exist significant difference. Is the highest incidence of kidney deficiency, times is phlegmy wet fire and liver depression syndrome.2. All the patients with PCOS in MPCOSQ6 domain score is statistically significant, infertility scored lowest, followed by emotional field, acne area scores the highest. Quality of life each domain to compare different syndrome score:in the field of weight, of each card type score comparison is was statistically significant, phlegm dampness syndromes scores were lower than the rest of the three groups in this field scoring;In the field of body hair, each card type score comparison is statistically significant, liver by yu fire certificate scored lowest;In the field of emotion, of each card type score comparison is statistically significant, kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness syndromes have lower scores in the field of emotion;In the field of infertility, the syndrome score is statistically significant, with kidney deficiency scored lowest, liver meridian depression syndrome score the highest fire;In the field of the rest of the life, is no statistical significance between each syndrome score.3. The total score of quality of life of each kind of this syndrome is statistical significance, phlegm dampness syndromes lowest quality of life score, followed by kidney deficiency. Score for each card type from different fields of statistical analysis:phlegmy wet certificate of quality of life in all areas there is significant difference between, body weight, infertility, menstrual scored lower than acne, body hair. Comparison between kidney deficiency of quality of life in all areas have significant differences, infertility scored lowest, followed by the menstruation, emotional domain score;The rest is no statistical significance between the two two. Qi and blood stasis, liver depression fire certificate of quality of life in various fields is no significant statistical significance.Conclusion1. Kidney deficiency disease rate is highest, phlegm dampness syndromes.2. PCOS patients quality of life of common damage, especially the quality of life in the field of infertility extent of the damage, the biggest hint of infertility treatment still is the key of the clinical treatment;Emotional areas the quality of life level of damage after infertility, suggest we need to pay more attention to the patients psychological health, guide the excretion of bad mood;Menstruation, pay closer attention body hair areas than weight, acne, prompt us to think of patients with clinical symptoms and individual subjective feeling, the healer and patient care is not the same.3. Different TCM syndrome types of PCOS patients quality of life have been different degree of damage, phlegm dampness syndromes and the quality of life of patients with kidney deficiency on the severity of the damage, should focus on, guide and improve the quality of life of the patient population.4. Different TCM syndrome types and quality of life appear certain relevance:in patients with kidney deficiency and infertility life presents certain correlation;Liver and body hair by yu fire syndrome, phlegm dampness syndromes and weight shows correlation;Emotional field infertility associated with kidney deficiency, phlegm dampness syndromes correlation;Body hair and liver by yu fire certificate the industry relevancy.5.
