Objective:To observe the clinic effects of the meridian scraping therapy for primary dysmenorrhea. Methods:Research methods:Comparison. Patients:129 patients with primary dysmenorrheal, participants for each group.Designment:Using the simple randomization method to divide the patients into 2 groups according to 1:1 sequentially allocates. One is the scraping therapy group (64 patients), the other is the drug group (65 patients).Group 1:Using horns scraping board to scrape foot three yin inside of double lower limbs first from the ankle joint medial to the knee joint medial, then to the femoral medial side of knee joint followed by from the foot Shaoyin meridian, Jueyin meridian and foot Taiyin of foot, scraping from the back to the front from the left lower to the right lower limb with frequency of 2 times per second,30 times for each line of longitude once a day. The technique should be gentle, fast and smooth without changing skin color basically, with no pain and a slight fever at the same time, without coating adjuvant as well.Group 2:Taking Ibuprofen Sustained release capsules, one tablet each time, twice a day.The treatment starts from the onset of dysmenorrhea in each group,3 consecutive days,3 menstrual cycles for 1 course. VAS (visual analogue score) and CMSS (COX menstrual symptom scale) scores are used before and after the treatment. SPSS20.0 is used in statistical analysis with all the data. Measurement data in line comes with the normal distribution of mean ±standard deviation. R* C does not meet the normal distribution while using rank sum, rank mean number and count data. T is tested in accordance with the normal distribution of measurement data. X2 tests count data. Two sample rank sum test rank data.Results:1. the results of VAS value in the groupsThe efficacy shows a increasing effect with statistically significant (P<0.05). The menstrual cycle VAS values are decreased in the treatment groups with the two-two menstrual cycle comparison, and the VAS values of the menstrual cycle shows better than before treatment. But there is no significant statistical significance (P>0.05) in the second menstrual cycles and the third menstrual cycles (VAS).2. Groups of CMSS value comparison:Both of the scraping therapy group and the drug group are able to improve the duration and the symptoms of primary dysmenorrhea. For scraping therapy group, fatigue, loss of appetite, irritability time and nausea are improved significantly. For the drug group, insomnia, abdominal pain, the degree of insomnia are improved significantly.3. Comparison of VAS value between the two groups:①The onset time of the two groups is statistically significant (P<0.05) in the scraping therapy group and the drug group, and the scraping therapy group is faster.②The treatment for the drug group in the first two months menstrual cycle shows better than the scraping therapy group with VAS values (P< 0.05), but in the third months menstrual cycle, analgesic effect of scraping therapy group is similar to the drug group with VAS values (P>0.05).③In the follow-up period, the VAS value of scraping therapy is lower, but better in the long-term effect (P<0.01).④At the end of a course of treatment, the total effective rate reaches 83.33%for the scraping therapy group and 85% for the drug group.4.The comparison results of CMSS value of the two groups:After a course of treatment, there is no statistical significance (P>0.05) between the treatment group and the drug group after the duration of the symptoms of dysmenorrhea.Conclusion:1. At the end of a course of treatment, the analgesic action of meridian scraping for primary dysmeborrhea can achieve the same analgesic affect as the western medicine group.2. The long-term effect of meridian scraping for primary dysmeborrhea is superior to the western medicine group.3. It is effective for the meridian scraping for primary dysmeborrhea, which is noninvasive, simple operative, and easy to be accepted by patients.
