Objective:To observe the prevention actions of early cupping therapy on local skin ulceration of cobra bite patients.Methods:1.Meet the inclusion criteria of 60 patients whom hospitalized in Surgery of traditional Chinese medicine in the People’s Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of traditional Chinese Medicine and bite by Cobra in July 2014 to January 2016.Randomly divided them into the control group and the treatment group, each of 30 cases.2.Double groups used conventional systems snakebite treatment programs, but the treatment group added to cupping therapy after admission for snakebite wound incision. Two groups of patients were observed and recorded the incidence rate of ulcer after the treatment, the clinical efficacy of 7 days after treatment.Detect the serum CK level in venous blood before treatment, third days and seventh days after the bite. Two groups of patients were divided into three groups according to the time of wound treatment:<3 hours group,>3 hours and ≤7 hours group,>7 hours group, the incidence rate of ulcer was calculated, and the clinical efficacy of 7 days after treatment was recorded.3.Using statistical software for comparison and analysis, and then coming to a dicision.4. Comparing for 60 patients’ gender, age, Bite time, serum CK levels before the treatment, there was no statistically significant differences (P>0.05). So they can be contrasted.Results:1.Ulcer rate comparison:The incidence rate of ulcer in the treatment group was 20.00%, and the control group was 76.67%,he difference is significant in statistics(P<0.05).2.The incidence of ulcer was compared with the time of wound treatment:In ≤3 hours group and> 3 hours and ≤7 hours group, the ulcer incidence of treatment group than the control group significantly reduced (P<0.05).3.Comparison of curative effect in 7 days:The clinical cure rate of the treatment group was 30%.The clinical cure rate of the control group was 13.33%.The difference is significant in statistics(P<0.05).4.Comparison of curative effect in 7 days according to the wound treatment time is different from the time of injury:(1)The cure rate of the treatment group was 75%, in ≤3 hours group. The cure rate of the other two groups was 0%.Three groups of patients with significant differences(P<0.05).(2)The control group clinical curative effect is no statistical difference (P>0.05).5. (1) The serum CK having a significant difference before and after treatment in the same group of patients (P<0.05); (2) There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group at 3 days after the bite of the CK(P>0.05). (3) The serum CK value of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group at 7 days after biting, with statistical difference(P<0.05).6.There was no significant difference in serum CK level between the treatment group and the patients with ulcer before and after treatment. And the control group was the same(P>0.05).Conclusion:Cupping therapy has a good effect in improving the clinical symptoms of patients bitten by a cobra. It can effectively prevent the occurrence of local ulcer, promote tissue repair, improve clinical efficacy. The serum CK level is proportional to the degree of tissue damage caused cobra bite. The serum CK levels has no significant relationship between local ulcer caused cobra bite.
