Objective:To search the influencing factors of individual factors, home environment and blood lead levels on cognition-motor development of infants, and to provide clues and basis for future intervention. Methods:According to the principle of informed consent and voluntary,834 infants of 3-12 months healthy infants were selected of regular health checks in child health care clinic in Changning District Maternal and Infant Health Care Hspital of Shanghai in the study period. They were dvided into three age sections, including 3-4 months old,5-6 months old,11-12 months old.The child home environment questionnaire (parents self-administered version) were used to investigated the general situation and home environment of infants, the blood lead level were determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry(GFAAS) with peripheral blood, the Age&Stage Questionnaires-Chinese(ASQ-C) were used to assess the level of infants’ cognitive-motor development. Results: ①The individual factors associated with infants’ cognitive-motor development were:age, gestational week, birth weight and feeding patterns(p<0.05). ② The home environment factors associated with infants’ cognitive-motor development were: educational level of mothers, marital status of parents, family structures, family income, the number of rooms in home, arrange body activities and action games or not,the time of in arms, sitting in chairs, using walking devices, lying prone, activities in playpen and the free time (p<0.05). ③The infants’ blood lead levels were in the range of 24-37(μg/L, mean 31.61±3.72μg/L,there was no significant effect on cognitive-motor development of infant in this blood lead level(p>0.05).Conclusion: ①Reduce the birth rate of premature and low birth weight infants, and promote breast feeding were beneficial to the development of the infant’s cognitive-motor development. ②Improve the educational level of the mothers, provide appropriate family ecological environment and appropriate development inputs for the baby, provide suitable indoor activity space, arrange some task oriented body activity and action games, reduce the time in arms, increase the time of using walking devices, lying prone, activities in playpen and free time, proper chair time were beneficial to the development of the infant’s cognitive-motor development. ③ At present, the blood lead level of infants in Shanghai was low, and there was no significant effect of this low level blood lead level on infants’ cognitive-motor development. Strict control of infants’ blood lead level as low as possible, can reduce the impact on infants’ cognitive-motor development.
