Vector-borne disease is a kind of natural epidemic disease spread by vector organisms such as mosquitoes, rats, ticks, fleas, lice, sandflies and simulium. Mosquitoes are the most vectors that spread dozens of infectious disease, like malaria, yellow fever and dengue fever.Mosquito monitoring is of great significance to the control of insect-borne infectious diseases. First, we can evaluate the degree of the harm caused by mosquitos on our own initiative. Take a same approach of mosquito monitoring in different areas, the result that the more quantities of capture and rates of pathogen carriers, the more harm to human health. Second, according to data and information of the epidemiology, establish an early-warning system. Mosquito-borne infectious diseases will have potential for outbreaks and epidemic spread, when the monitoring index exceeds vigilance, which means external pathogen invasion. Third, this method will contribute to realize and master mosquito-infested environmental types, blood-sucking habits, resting habits, and laws of growth and decline.This research that composes of 2 parties, one of them is that the data analysis of mosquito monitoring about the law of growth and decline of rapidly changing processes and population composition of mosquitos in the city, during the period from 2009 to 2015; and other is that understand and master the distribution range, changing in breeding place, and level of insecticide resistant of Aedes albopictus, which is a kind of the important organism vector, in order to eliminate the risk of vector-borne diseases in this area, and provide the scientific basis about effective control of mosquito density and vector-borne diseases, by the methods of CO2 trapping, container, mosquito and oviposition trap, bed-curtain snare etc.The result of this study indicated that mosquito population composition and density showed obvious change in Chaoyang district. With the improvement of urban renewal and ecological environment change, mosquito density is more and more higher. Although the escalating trend toward slows down, still maintain the density in a high level, in recent years. The kinds and the biodiversity index of mosquito were increasing obviously year by year. Culex pipiens pallens is a kind of dominant species, but ratio was dramatic decline. Ae. albopictus, Anopheles sinensis, Cx. tritaeniorhynchus, which are important mosquito vectors, was trapped and the ratio increased steady growth for years, among others, Ae. albopictus dominated, and the ratio was nearly 10%. The different ecological environment areas had different mosquito density ratios, the highest was parks, and had abundant species.The width of geographical niche is increasing yearly, Ae. albopictus is spreading in Chaoyang area. The data from observation and consideration by the CO2 trapping method and mosquito and oviposition trap method, indicated that August was the highest active period in each year, the mosquito and oviposition positive index was about 44%.Compare with container method and mosquito and oviposition trap method, it is more suitable for geographical conditions and environment, which have lower rainfall, in order to improve efficiency.
