Objective:The aim of the study is to observe the score of children who is "TAN YIN HUA RE" Cough Variant Asthma in Cough score and Syndrome of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) after using "QING FEI TANG JIA XI XIN", "QING FEI TANG" and "Montelukast Sodium Chewable Tablets", to assess safety and efficacy of "QING FEI TANG JIA XI XIN" and "QING FEI TANG".Methods:Participants (N= 90) were children who accord with the promising standards ages 3-14 years. The study adopted randomized-controlled trial and the participants divided into three groups and each group((N=30):first group with "QING FEI TANG JIA XI XIN",second group with "QING FEI TANG" and third group with "Montelukast Sodium Chewable Tablets". Then record the observation data and make statistical processing 4-week run-in period later when the study is over.Results:Studies have shown three groups decreased Cough score and the score of TCM. Likewise, three treatments can play therapeutic effect. However, the Cough score efficiency(86.7%) and the TCM syndrome score efficiency (90%)) of first group is evident higher than second group with Cough score efficiency (70%) and the TCM syndrome score efficiency (76.7%) and third group with Cough score efficiency (66.7%) and the TCM syndrome score efficiency (63.3%). "QING FEI TANG JIA XI XIN" is significant differences among three groups with no obvious adverse.Conclusion:"QING FEI TANG JIA XI XIN" is much more effective than other two groups, "Montelukast Sodium Chewable Tablets" and "QING FEI TANG" have the same value.
