Clinical Research On The Packet With Clove And Magnolia Obavata In Treating Diabetic Neurogenic Bladder

Object i veTo observe the clinical effectiveness of the packet with clove and magnolia obavata in treating patients of diabetic neurogenic bladder(DN B) belong to the Traditional Chinese Medical(TCM) syndrome and bladder residual urine volume.Exploring the mechanism preliminarily to provide objective foundations for using the packet with clove and magnolia obav ata to treat DNB in clinical practice.MethodsSelect 75 cases of diabetic neurogenic bladder patients, randomly divided into packet group (25 cases), mecobalamin group (25 cases) and control group(25 cases), all groups were given the basic treatment, including diabetes diet and exercise mission, hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering, antihypertensive therapy, etc.The packet group was given the packet with clove and magnolia obavata, the mecobalamin group was given oral mecobalamin tablets with 0.5mg/time,3 times/day, and the control group was given the packet with flour,treatment for two weeks. Separately carries on the system of clinical research, focus on before and after treatment in patients with clinical symptoms, bladder residual urine volume, and then proceed relevant statistics analysis,at the same time record the adverse reactions in the process of treatment.Result(1)TCM syndrome score:Clinical observation found that, the clinical TCM symptoms and signs of all groups patients were improved after treatment (P＜0.01). Packet group were compared with the mecobalamin group, the control group in the symptom scores after treatment and the difference of symptom scores before and after treatment, found that the improving of clinical symptom scores in the packet group was statistically significant (P＜0.01).The total effective rate of syndromes of TCM in packet group was 76%, the mecobalamin group was 16%, and the control group was 16%, the total efficiency of the packet group was better than the mecobalamin group and control group.The results show, the packet with clove and magnolia obavata, mecobalamin and the packet with flour all can improve DNB patients with clinical symptoms and signs, but the packet with clove and magnolia obavata has better efficacy, can better improve the clinical symptoms. (2)Bladder residual urine volume:After the treatment, the bladder residual urine volume of packet group and mecobalamin group were both reduced (P＜0.01), while there was no significant difference between the control group (P＞0.05). To compare the bladder residual urine volume after the treatment,the packet group was better than the control group (P<0.01), and mecobalamin group (P<0.05). Packet group were compared with the mecobalamin group, the control group in the difference of bladder residual urine volume before and after treatment, found that the improving of bladder residual urine volume in the packet group was statistically significant (P＜0.01).The total efficacy rate of the bladder function in packet group was 84%, while the mecobalamin group was 48%, and the control group was 20%, there was a significant difference between the packet group and mecobalamin group, the differences between the packet group and control group are statistically significant (P<0.01). The packet group in reducing the residual urine volume superior to the mecobalamin group and control group(P＜0.01). Studies have shown that the packet with clove and magnolia obavata and mecobalamin on DNB patients have a therapeutic effect. The packet with clove and magnolia obavata has better efficacy, can better reduce the bladder residual urine volume. (3)Glucose metabolism:All groups of patients’blood glucose level was fallen after treatment(P＜0.01), but there was no significant difference among the three groups(P＞0.05). It showed that the packet with clove and magnolia obavata and mecobalamin in improving glucose metabolism in patients with no significant advantage(P>0.05). (4)Security analysis:All participants’ security indices showed no obvious abnormalities during the research. And there was no obvious adverse reaction.ConciusionThe packet with clove and magnolia obavata has satisfactorily therapeutic efficacy to diabetic neurogenic bladder patients in improving the clinical symptoms and reducing the bladder residual urine volume. The packet with clove and magnolia obavata ensures safety without obvious adverse reaction, so it deserves to be explored and used further in clinical practice.
