Clinical Observing Of YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula On Promoting The Postoperative Residual Stone After Flexible Ureteroscopy

ObjectiveFor urinary stones, Especially for renal stones, its incidence is rising gradually. With the improvement of minimally invasive technology, the kidney stone is almost treated by minimally invasive. Flexible ureteroscopy combined with holmium laser lithotripsy is one of the minimally invasive method, which is a safe、effective, minimally invasive, higher stone-free rate and fewer complication treatment. But it may appear clinical symptoms, like back pain、 gross hematuria, and the postoperative residual stone after flexible ureteroscopy combined with holmium laser lithotripsy was promoted by drink more water and do more xercise; Therefore, how to relieve the clinical symptoms and discharge the residual stone more effectively has become one of the concern of urological surgeons. YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula has been used to treat urinary stones for many years, but it has few clinical research, the aim of the project is to observe the symptoms and the clinical effects of YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula on postoperative residual stone after flexible ureteroscopy combined with holmium laser lithotripsy.MethodsThe patines for this project were treated with flexible ureteroscopy combined with holmium laser lithotripsy were from Urology in-patient department of Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital during Jun 2015 to Feb 2016. The 40 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula treatment group and Relingqing Granule group by simple random method. 20 cases of treatment group and 20 cases of control group, The treating cycle is four weeks after the surgeon, the clinical symptoms(such as back pain、gross hematuria). stone-free rate after 4weeks and adverse reactions and side effects were observed or recorded during the project. At last, to analyzed the collected data by using SPSS17.0.Results1 the basic information of the two groups was not statistically significant (P＞0.05), such as gender, age, stone position, preoperative stone size, postoperative stone size and CT value.2 Comparing YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula treatment group and Relingqing Granule group, the stone expulsion efficiency of YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula treatment group was obviously higher than Relingqing Granule group, the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05), Comparing postoperative VAS score and gross hematuria, YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula treatment group was obviously lower than Relingqing Granule group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Comparing the treated with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy(ESWL) after 4weeks, the treaed with ESWL of YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula treatment group was lower than Relingqing Granule group, but it was not statistically significant (P＞0.05).3 Security:YiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula is safe,adverse reactions and side effects was not shown during the study.ConclusionYiQiGuShen PaiShi Formula is safe、effective and no side effects;It can effectively improve the postoperative residual stone after flexible ureteroscopy combined with holmium laser lithotripsy, improve the stone-free rate and reduce back pain and clinical symptoms after surgery, which can improve quality of life for patients.
