Objective:This research through "clinical research of Nasal lung cough decoction "in the treatment of chronic cough caused by upper airway cough syndrome, observe the turn around time of main symptoms, the physical signs and 21 days overall curative effect, then make statistical analysis and clinical evaluation of the results, finally provide an traditional Chinese medicine preparations can be effective for the treatment of upper airway cough syndrome.Methods:The clinical trial design using random, positive drug control, subjects in Shenzhen hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2015 February to 2016 February in Department of respiration, emergency, fever outpatients diagnosed as upper airway cough syndrome patients with 120 cases of chronic cough, randomly divided into the treatment group of 60 cases(Nasal lung cough decoction),60 cases in the control group of Western medicine. The treatment group received oral Nasal lung cough decoction (composed of Magnolia 10g, angelica 10g, Fructus Viticis 10g, Purple Perilla leaf 10g, Citrus 10g, tenuifolia 10g, Cynanchum glaucescenslOg,Platycodon grandiflorum10g, Main ephedra 10g, almond 10g, Houttuynia cordata 10g, Baikal Skullcap 10g, licorice 10g),day one potion, two times a day; the control group was treated with Meng LuSi sodium chewable tablet Oral 10 mg qn, chronic sinusitis was treated with oral Loratadine 0.5g one time per day, patients with Chronic sinusitis oral 0.5g azithromycin dry suspension agent 1 times per day or Cephalosporins oxime ester capsules 100 mg 2 times a day.7 days one period of treatment, a total of 3 period of treatment.Results:The two groups in gender, age difference is not significant, statistically comparable (P＞0.05);cough and cough up phlegm integral improvement after treatment, the comparison of cough, cough up phlegm, backflow stuff, pharyngeal itching after nasal and pharyngeal signs before and after the treatment in the two groups of cases, P＜0.05, statistical significance.
