Objective:This study was to investigate the serum level of al-AT、IL-4、IL-6 and CRP in primary lung cancer patients to compare the inflammatory reaction extent between VATS and thoracotmy. Providing a theoretical basis for the promotion of thoracoscopy. Methods:The serum level of α1-AT、IL-4、IL-6 and CRP were detected by ELISA in 30 VATS and 30 thoracotmy of primary lung cancer patients.Results:1.The Serum α1-AT of both groups in postoperative were obviously higher than Preoperative. The α1-AT level of VATS group in postoperative 24h、72h、120h were lower than thoracotomy group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).2.The level of IL-4 and IL-6 in VATS and thoracotomy group in postoperative were higher than Preoperative (P<0.05), while the IL-4 level in VATS postoperative 120h was declined comparing with postoperative 24h、72h and its level was similar with preoperative(P> 0.05).3.The preoperative C-reactive protein(CRP) level in both groups were similar and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The postoperative C-reactive protein level in both groups were increased compared with the preoperative (P<0.001). The CRP level in VATS of postoperative 72h was lower than thoracotomy group and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions:1. Compared with thoracotomy, the trauma extent of VATS are lower in lung cancer postoperative.2. α1-AT can be used as a potential index to evaluate the inflammatory reaction.3.IL4、IL6 can be used as a potential index to evaluate the inflammatory reaction.
