The Clinical Observation Of Miao Xiyong’s Descending Theory Treating Functional Constipation On Syndrome Of Intestinal And Qi Stagnation Syndrome

Objective:To treat functional constipation by using Miao Xiyong’s descending theory, namely using Perilla and Loquat leaf, and uniting self-prepared relaxing bowel and purging decoction. By comparing with using self-prepared relaxing bowel and purging decoction singly, to observe whether there is advantage by the former method on improving the symptoms of constipation and relieving patients’mental condition. To rich in functional constipation treatments;To study and develop MiaoXiyong academic ideas.Methods:By adopting the method of clinical research, Fifty-seven patients of functional constipation conformed to the inclusive criteria were elected, and they were randomly divided into two groups,29 cases treatment group and control group 28 cases. The control group was treated orally with self-prepared relaxing bowel and purging decoction, while the treatment group was treated with Perilla 10g and Loquat leaf 10g on the basis of the control group. Two groups are taking a course, a total of 4 weeks. To compare the two groups of patients on constipation symptom scores, comprehensive curative effect evaluation and anxiety (SAS)、depression self rating scale (SDS) scores.Results:Both the two groups are reduced on constipation symptoms points from the previousafter treatment (P<0.05),and the treatment group P<0.01, the difference has significant statistical significance. Symptoms integral has differences between two groups after treatment (P=0.04<0.05), which has statistical significance. On the comprehensive curative effect evaluation, the total effective rate was 86.2% in treatment group, which was better than that in control group (60.7%),and it has statistical significance P<0.05. In relieving patients’mental condition, the control group improvement is not obvious compared with before this treatment, which has no statistically significant difference(P>0.05); The treatment group improved obviously, which has statistically significant difference(P< 0.05), and it has statistically significant difference compared with the control group (P<0.05)Conclusion:It has a good curative effect on improving the symptoms of constipation and relieving patients’mental condition to treat functional constipation by using Miao Xiyong’s descending theory, adding Perilla and Loquat leaf on the basis of the self-prepared relaxing bowel and purging decoction.
