Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of "BuXinRuanMai" granule in angina pectoris with "Qi-Yin deficiency" and "Stagnant Heat", and to explore the Chinese medicine’s possible mechanism. Methods:Patients with angina pectoris were randomly divided into control group and the treatment group. Each group had 20 patients. Patients in the control group received conventional western medicine, and patients in the treatment group received "BXRM" granule additionally. Each group needed to take medicine for eight weeks.Observing the curative effect of angina, improvement of TCM symptoms, variation of the ECQserum lipids, hemorheology, CRP, D-D-dimer, fibrinogen and other related indicators, we evaluated efficacy of the "BXRM" granule.Result:①"BXRM" granule could not only relieve the symptoms of angina in patients, but also improve the syndromes, Compared with the control group,"BXRM" granule had significant curative effect(P<0.05);②In the aspect of the lipid metabolism, the treatment group could significantly reduced more in the serum TC, TG, LDL, raised highly in the HDL levels, than the control group;③In the aspect of the blood rheology, the treatment group reduced more in the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, erythrocyte rigidity index, D-D-dimer, and fibrinogen (FIB) content, than the control group;④In the aspect of the inflammatory responses, CRP levels in two groups of patients after treatment were decreased, but there were no significant difference;⑤During the treatment, we did not find adverse reactions. Conclusion:"BXRM" granule had better clinical efficacy in the coronary heart disease patientswith "Qi-Yin deficiency" and "Stagnant Heat". Its mechanism may be related to the regulation of lipid metabolism, improvement of blood rheology.
