BACKGOUNDAs time goes by, facial aging is the irresistible fate of humankind. The key lies in the continuous loss of facial collagen and adipose tissue. Mantioned of anti-ageing, Rhytidectomy, hyaluronic acid filling, botulinum toxin injection, Aptos thread lifting were often be filed. These methods can improve facial aging in different degree, but may have trauma, long recovery period, unnatural facial expression, scars left behind and was unable to stimulate collagen and elastic fiber regeneration from the fundamental solution to the problem. In this case we will introduce a modified surgical method of Polypropylene (PDO) thread lifting for facial rejuvenation.OBJECTAdopting PDO thread and techniques to counteract the descent and laxity of the face.METHODA retrospective chart review was conducted over a 12-month period.51 procedures of thread lifting were performed. On each side,10 PDO threads were used in the procedure for the flabby skin of the nasolabial folds.RESULTIn most patients(82.34%), the results obtained were considered satisfactory. The incidence of complications in bruise(7.84%) and Postoperative pain(9.80%) was low and not serious.CONCLUSIONFacial rejuvenation using PDO thread is a minimally invasive and effective procedure. Patients with modest face sagging, fine wrinkles were more effective.
