Objective:To explore the effect of superficial anesthesia with alkalized lidocanie on patients experiencing machine debridement.Method:A prospective randomized controlled design was employed. A sample of 64 adults consulting with the wound specialized nurse from a teaching tertiary general hospital in Hangzhou were enrolled in September 2014 to May 2015.They were randomized into two groups, A and B, each group with 32 adults. For the first changing dressing, the process was same with normal operation. For the second changing dressing, patients of the group A were given topical anesthesia with 2% lidocaine mixed with 0.9% NaCl for 5 minutes, patients of the group B were given topical anesthesia with 2%lidocanie mixed with 5% NaHCO3 for 5 minutes. Nurse measured patients’pain with NRS, Heart Rate, Pulse Oxygen Saturation, Blood Press before the debridement and after the debridement and recorded the wound healing time and debridement period. Measurement data was showed by /x ±S and analyzed by t-test. Enumeration data was showed by case number and analyzed by Fisher’s exact test. Result:1. After the second debridement, the scores of NRS in group A was 5.06±1.05 and group B was 3.31±0.86.There had a significant difference on statistics between two groups (P<0.05)2. For the debridement period, the days of group A were 15.28±5.366 and group B were 10.72±3.54.Two groups had a significant difference on statistics(P< 0.05).3. For the wound healing time, the days of group A were 39.78±7.75 and group B were 35.84±5.49. Two groups had a significant difference on statistics (P< 0.05).4. There also had a difference on statistics for heart rate and Pulse Oxygen Saturation, between two groups (P<0.05)Conclusion:Compared with lidocaine, superficial anesthesia with alkalized lidocaine could reduce patient’s pain, promote wound healing, decrease debridement period.
