Clinical Observation Of Wenwei Dingtong Decoction In The Treatment Of Gastralgia With Yang Deficiency

Objectives:According to environment characteristics of Quanzhou region, to study the curative effect of Wenwei Dingtong Decoction treating patients with gastralgia of yang deficiency type, record the treatment assessment standards of clinical physical and chemical inspection index and TCM symptom score and visual analogue score (VAS) and evaluate the curative effect and safety of Wenwei Dingtong Decoction,to explore advantages of traditional Chinese medicine treating this disease and to lay a basis for guiding clinical treatment.Methods:Randomized controlled method was adopted in this study. One hundred cases with gastralgia of yang deficiency type were included in this study and they were assigned to the treatment group and the control group randomly, with 50 cases in each group. Patients in the treatment group were given granule of Wenwei Dingtong Decoction and patients in the control group were given Sodium Rabeprazole Enteric-coated Tablets. Two weeks were one treatment course for both groups. Patients were followed up for 4 weeks. Safety indexes of blood routine examination, liver and kidney function, electrocardiogram of patients before and after treatment were recorded. The clinical symptom change and TCM symptom score and visual analogue score (VAS) change of patients were observed. Statistical analysis was conducted on these data to evaluate the clinical effect and safety of Wenwei Dingtong Decoction.Results:1. Total 100 patients were included in the study. Three cases fell out of the treatment group and two cases fell out of the control group. Finally,95 patients finished the clinical observation, with the falling rate of 5%.2.Clinical symptoms of patients in the treatment group and the control group were both improved in a certain degree while the total effective rate and TCM symptom score and visual analogue score (VAS) after treatment of the treatment group were both better than that of the control group and there was a significant difference (P<0.05). The recurrence rate of the treatment group was evidently lower than that of the control group and there was a significant difference between two groups (P<0.05).3. During the treatment process,95 patients who had completed the clinical observation did not have any adverse events. There was no evident abnormality in examination indexes of blood routine examination, liver and kidney function and routine electrocardiogram.Conclusion:1. Wenwei Dingtong Decoction can evidently improve the relevant clinical symptoms of patients with gastralgia of yang deficiency type and improve the living quality of patients. The curative effect is accurate.2. There was no adverse events of during the treatment process of Wenwei Dingtong Decoction, so it is safe.
