Clinical Curative Effect Of Tendon-soothing Maneuver On The Pains After Total Knee Arthroplasty Operation

Objective:To study the clinical curative effect of tendon-soothing maneuver on the pains after total knee arthroplasty operation and provide a comprehensive therapy method with more efficient outcome for clinical treatment.Methods:Select 80 patients who meet the requirements on primary total knee arthroplasty operation, and are statistically divided into two groups of experiment group (40 cases) and comparison group (40 cases). The comparison team is going to receive regular treatment after surgery, while the experiment group is going to receive extra tendon-soothing maneuver. Serum TNF-α、COX-2、CRP、visual analogue scale and joint range of motion of the two groups will be compared at one day pre-surgery, and 3,7,14 post-surgery.Results:1.Serum TNF-a:Comparison between groups:there were no obvious statistical difference between the two groups at one day before surgery (P>0.05). The results of experiment group were lower than the comparison group, the difference of which had statistical meanings (P<0.05).Comparison of intra-group:those 7 days after operation were lower than those 3 days after operation and those 14 days after operation were lower than those 7 days after operation in both groups, and the differences had statistical meanings（P＜0.05).2.Serum COX2:Comparison between groups:there were no significant differences between both groups 1 day before operation, the difference of which had statistical meanings (P>0.05);the experimental groups 3,7,14 days after operation were lower than those in the control groups and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05). Within group comparisons.those 7 days after operation were lower than those 3 days after operation and those 14 days after operation were lower than those 7 days after operation in both groups, and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05).3.Serum CRP:Comparison between groups:there were no significant differences between both groups 1 day before operation, the difference of which had statistical meanings (P>0.05);the experimental groups 3,7,14 days after operation were lower than those in the control groups and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05). Within group comparisons:those 7 days after operation were lower than those 3 days after operation and those 14 days after operation were lower than those 7 days after operation in both groups and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05).4.Visual analog pain score:Comparison between groups:there were no significant differences between both groups 1 day before operation, the difference of which had statistical meanings (P>0.05);the experimental groups 3,7 days after operation were lower than those in the control groups and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05).Within group comparisons:those 7 days after operation were lower than those 3 days after operation and those 14 days after operation were lower than those 7 days after operation in both groups and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05).5.Range of motion:Comparison between groups:there were no significant differences between both groups 1 day before operation, the difference of which had statistical meanings (P>0.05);the experimental groups 3,7 days after operation were better than those in the control groups and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05).Within group comparisons:those 7 days after operation were better than those 3 days after operation and those 14 days after operation were lower than those 7 days after operation in both groups and the differences had statistical meanings (P<0.05).Conclusion:Tendon-soothing maneuver can effectively cure the pains after total knee arthroplasty operation,it is also propitious to release the patients’pain, improving the Knee joint function after surgery and the curing effect of total knee arthroplasty operation.
