Objective:To retrospectively analyze the clinical results of biopsy in female patients with the largest diameter of less than 3cm breast lesions in our hospital by using the Mammotome.Methods:A retrospective analysis was made to 402 patients with ultrasound guided downward mammotome minimally invasive breast rotary cutting biopsy in patients with breast tumor data and evaluate 402 patients 438 a breast lesion after operation pathological results, the proportion of benign and malignant and benign lesions postoperative complications and patient satisfaction rate of October 2015 to October 2015, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University.Results:402 cases with 438 breast lesions were under biopsy. The pathological results showed 308 cases wre benign, accounted for 76.6%, mainly in fibroadenoma,214 cases of fibroadenoma,10 cases of precancerous lesions, 2.5%,84 cases of malignant tumor, accounting for 20.9%. Skin on the surface of the breast only left a small scar about 0.6cm. Pathological results showed that benign lesions in women, local subcutaneous congestion occurred in 6 cases,4 patients with recurrence, no recurrence was found in other patients with 6 months to 1 year ultrasound examination, intraoperative hemorrhage in 2 cases, without infection, skin damage, chest wall, skin sag other complications.396 patients were satisfied with the effect of minimally invasive treatment.Conclusions:In our hospital, benign lesions was the majority in women whose lesions were less than 3cm, Mammotome biopsy technique is a safe and reliable choice for the treatment of breast masses,which has a advantages of cosmetic result, safety, minimally invasive effect, accuracy, less complications, which has a advantages of clinical diagnostic value when ultrasound or mammography does not consider malignant lesions. The postoperative complications were related to the size of the lesion, the greater the lesion, the higher risk of complications. Application of Mammotome biopsy in the diagnosis of malignant lesions less than 1cm is accurate.
