Fujian Hakka Folk Medicine And Health Research

Hakka is an important unique system nation nurtured by the people in a particular historical conditions and geographical environment, and as part of Hakka Family, the Fujian Hakka not only inherited the traditional Chinese folk customs, but also formed its own unique customs and combined with actual situation such as geographical environment, the humanities characteristics in the long life, many of which are related to medicine and health knowledge, and accumulated containing abundant medicine culture connotation.Currently, researching on Hakka, many scholars focus on the origin and development of Hakka, also, on Hakka folk study, mostly from the perspective of folklore but lacking of Hakka folk custom from the Angle of medicine custom, thus the study on Hakka folk medicine and health are less, scattered data bits and pieces, so there is not forming systematic and complete analysis and research. These problems caused some difficulties for the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Hakka culture.Therefore, this paper from the perspective of medicine as a starting point, combining with the methods such as philology, history, and basing on excavation, arrangement and research through culture connotation of traditional Chinese medicine from Hakka traditional folk customs, and showing culture of traditional Chinese medicine of Hakka. Studying on medical folklore in Fujian Hakka are beneficial to the research about traditional Chinese medicine of Hakka, and deepen awareness of the Fujian Hakka culture, which can provide important academic value for Hakka studies.This paper begins with background of the Fujian Hakka medical folklore aims to study the background of Fujian Hakka medical folklore for the whole paper;article II-IV, introducing Fujian Hakka folk medicine and health rituals in life, at the age of content customs, dietary customs and other aspects of exploration and narrative in which the characteristics of the behavior of the pharmaceutical activities and a wide array of medical and health knowledge; article V for summary, through the research on medical health customs in Fujian Hakka mentioned above four articles to excavate its abundant medical and health knowledge, and summarize its scientific connotation, and its existing problems and prospect in development.
