Objective:To investigate the changes and the predictive value of ET-1、NO and CRP on vascular restenosis in patients with atherosclerotic occlusive disease after interventional therapy. Methods:We choosed 67 patients (78 limbs) with atherosclerotic occlusive disease after interventional therapy, and compared levels of ET-1、NO and CRP before the operation and at 6 hours,24 hours,1 week,1 month and 3 months post procedure. All the patients received CT angiography at 3 months after the operation, and we could find if vascular restenosis happened, comparing with the imaging data before the operation. Then the relationship between vascular restenosis and plasma levels of ET-1 and NO was analyzed. Results:In all cases, the plasma level of ET-1 increased significantly at 6 hours after operation and maintained very high level from 24 hours to 1 week after operation. In 59 cases (69 limbs) with no vascular restenosis, the plasma level of ET-1 resumed to pre-operation level at 1 month and maintained to 3 months after operation;but in 6 cases (7 limbs) with vascular restenosis, the plasma level of ET-1 increased again at 1 month and maintained high level to 3 months after operation. The changes of plasma level of NO was in contrast to ET-1. In all cases, the serum level of CRP increased significantly at 6 hours and 24 hours after operation, and tended to peak at 24 hours after operation; then the level of CRP declined gradually resumed to pre-operation level at 1 week after operation; at 1 month and 3 months after operation, the level of CRP decreased significantly compared with pre-operation level. In cases with vascular restenosis, the serum level of CRP at 1 month and 3 months after operation were significantly higher than that of cases with no vascular restenosis; but there were no obvious differences between them at other time. Conclusion:The dynamic monitoring of ET-1、NO and CRP could be the great importance to the prediction of vascular restenosis and the assessment of prognosis in patients with atherosclerotic occlusive disease after interventional therapy. There was practical significance for us to value drug intervetion in the prevention of vascular restenosis.
