【Objective】To explore the short-term effect of endovascular therapy ofcombining and femoral artery dorsalis pedis/posterior tibial artery approach to BTKatherosclerotic occlusive disease.【Method】It was a study of77patients who suffered from BTK atheroscleroticocclusive disease, collected from July2011to March2013(Rutherford level4to level6), of which62patients had rest pain,15patients had ulcer. The course of the diseasevaried from1month to5years.Finally,42patients accepted the transfemoralendovascular therapy, and35patients accepted endovascular therapy of combiningfemoral artery and dorsalis pedis/posterior tibial approach.【Result】The rest pain of the62patients were relieved.15patients who sufferedfrom ulcer were healed by endovascular therapy for the patency of lower extremelyartery and then surgical debridement for the ulcer. The ABI of endovascular therapy ofcombining femoral artery and dorsalis pedis/posterior tibial approach (0.98±0.22) washigher than the ABI of transfemoral endovascular therapy(0.82±0.33)(p<0.05).Thecombining therapy did better in improving blood flow rate and claudication distanceThere was no differenced of the incidence of complication.(p>0.05).【Conclusion】The patients who had long occlusion prefered endovascular therapyof combining and femoral artery dorsalis pedis/posterior tibial artery approach toBTK atherosclerotic occlusive disease.
