Objective:through analyzing the relationship between urinary red cell morphology in purpura nephritis patients and TCM syndrome types, and e Xploring the regularity between them, this thesis aims to provide the objective basis for clinical purpura nephritis TCM syndrome differentiation, and help to diagnose and treat the disease. Methods:this study collected 90 standard purpura nephritis patients from nephrology outpatient and inpatient between August 2014 and August 2014 in Yunnan Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Collect fresh morning urine 10 ml from patients, and use contrast microscope method to detect the urine red blood cellsmiddle after centrifugal slices phase Then observe the morphology of urinary anomalies and normal red blood cells and count percentage of both using blood count plate. At the same time, to make sydrome differentiation(wind heat stroke syndrome, wet stasis mutual junction, qi and Yin deficiency syndrome) according to patients’ syndrome, states of tongue and pulse condition. To analyze the correlation of urinary red cell morphology in patients with purpura nephritis and TCM syndrome types.Results:1.TCM syndromes in patients with purpura nephritis are listed below, from highest to lowest proportion:qi and Yin deficiency syndrome(42.57%), wet stasis mutual junction(35.36%), the wind and heat stroke syndrome(22.06%).2.the proportion of abnormal red blood cell in the three TCM syndromes are listed below from the highest to the lowest: qi and Yin deficiency syndrome(79.5%),wet stasis mutual junction(76.5%), the wind heat stroke by(73.4%). Abnormal red blood cell levels in the three TCM syndrome types are statistically significant(P<0.05). Wind heat stroke node with wet stasis(pvalue were 0.037) and qi and Yin deficiency and dampness stasis mutual node, wind heat stroke(P = 0.018, 0.000< 0.05)difference had statistical significance.3.The frequency of spines shape of red blood cells in the three TCM syndromes is listed below from the highest to the lowest: qi and Yin deficiency syndrome(87.80 %), wet stasis mutual junction(76.67 %), wind and heat stroke syndrome(52.63%). The comparison of frequency of Spines shape of red blood cells in the three TCM syndromes is statistically significant(P<0.05). The comparison among qi and Yin deficiency syndrome, wet stasis and syndrome and the wind and heat stroke between groups(pvalues were0.042, 0.000<0.042) as well as the comparison between wet stasis mutual junction and wind heat stroke(P = 0.036<0.05) are both statistically significant. The frequency of spines shape of red blood cells in qi and Yin deficiency syndrome is significantly higher than other syndromes.4.the percentage of each abnormal red blood cell content in three TCM syndromes are:(1)in wind heat stroke group, the percentage of abnormal red blood cells content is listed from the highest to the lowest:little red(0.258), the target red(0.130),(0.126), other red ring(0.123), red(0.083), the spine red(0.018).(2) in wet stasis mutual junction group, the percentage of each abnormal red blood cells content is listed from the highest to the lowest:red ring(0.279), small red(0.138), the target red(0.122), red(0.105),(0.094), other red spine(0.024).(3) in qi and Yin deficiency syndrome group, the percentage of abnormal red blood cell content is listed from the highest to the lowest:target red(0.286), red ring(0.166),(0.144), and other small red(0.122), red(0.048), the spine red(0.029).Conclusion:1. qi and Yin deficiency syndrome has the highest frequency in three TCM syndromes of patients with purpura nephritis.2. Abnormal red blood cell content percentage differentiates in different TCM syndromes of purpura nephritis patients. qi and Yin deficiency syndrome group has high content of abnormal red blood cells, compared with other two groups.3. the frequency and percentage of spines shape of red blood cells is the highest in qi and Yin deficiency syndrome.4. the wind heat stroke has the highest correlation with small red blood cells;wet stasis mutual knot has the highest correlation with ring of red blood cells;qi and Yin deficiency syndrome has the highest correlation with target of red blood cells. This article speculates TCM syndromes of purpura nephritis patients has certain relevance with urinary red cell morphology.
