| Objective: Observe the clinical curative effect and security of the colon dialysis with Chinese medicine treatment on chronic renal failure with accumulation of turbidity-stasis type, and investigate the mechanism by the method of clinical trial research.Methods: 1. Observe 72 cases which have chronic renal failure(included compensatory period, decompensation) with accumulation of turbidity-stasis type selected by inclusion criteria in clinical. A randomized controlled design scheme is applied to ensure equal number of patients in treatment group and control group, both of which are based on 10 courses of treatments of the diet of quality low-protein and low phosphorus, the maintenance of water, electrolyte and acid-base balance, anti infection and symptomatic treatment, but the treatment group was given colon dialysis with Chinese medicine, the control group wasn’t. Before the treatment, there was no statistical difference between the two groups in age, gender, and course of disease, etc.2. Observe the change of laboratory indicators such as the renal function(Scr,Ccr,BUN,UA), blood routine(WBC,RBC,Hb,PLT), electrolytes(Ca, P,K), blood lipids(TC, TG, HDL-C),hemorheology(low shear whole blood viscosity,high shear whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity),and then compare the treatment results and judge the difference of the curative effect.3. Observe the changes in main symptoms of two groups before and after treatment, and quantify the symptom integral, then analyze the effect.Results: 1. Comparison of the total clinical efficacy: after the treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group is obviously greater than that of the control group when the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01) by comparing the treatment group to the control group.2. Improvement of renal function, blood routine, blood lipids and hemorheology: the improvement of renal function and blood routine of the treatment group is better than that of the control group when the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05) by comparing the laboratory indicators in treatment group to the control group after treatment. In regarding of the change of blood routine in hemoglobin, red blood cell, the treatment group is significant(P<0.01),the treatment group is better than the control group after treatment. In regarding of the change of blood lipids in TC, TG, HDL-C, the treatment group is significant(P<0.05), the treatment group is better than the control group after treatment.3. Comparison of the total effect of TCM: the total effect of TCM in the treatment group is obviously better than that in the control group when the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05) by comparing the treatment group to the control group after the treatment.4. Comparison of the efficacy of TCM symptoms: both groups significantly improve the symptoms. The effect of the treatment group is more significant than the control group after treatment, the treatment group is better than the control group in the change of the TCM symptoms when the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion:1. Colon dialysis with Chinese medicine can significantly improve patients’ symptoms of the accumulation of turbidity-stasis type of CRF.2. Colon dialysis with Chinese medicine can improve the patients’ kidney function and slow down the disease progression.3. Colon dialysis with Chinese medicine can change the degree of anemia of the patients and increase the red blood cells level and hemoglobin level.4. Colon dialysis with Chinese medicine can regulate the patients’ lipid metabolism by reducing cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), and increasinghigh-density lipoprotein(HDL-C).5. Colon dialysis with Chinese medicine can improve the patients’ hemorheology and reduce low shear whole blood viscosity, high shear whole blood viscosity, and plasma viscosity of the blood.6. During the treatment, there is no side effect and adverse reaction. It shows that Colon dialysis with Chinese medicine is safe and effective in treating CRF patients in the accumulation of turbidity-stasis type. |
