Objective: By clinical and experimental research, To observe possible effects of Uyghur medicine drugs SALAJIT MAJUN in the fracture healing process. Method:(1) In the cilinical research, 66 hospitalized patients with ulnar and radius fracture in the uyghur medicine hospitals of XinJiang Uyghur Autonomous Region from December 2014 to October 2015 were treated by manual plaster fixation methods in Uyghur medicine. after gimmick reset, the patients divided into observation group and control group, the observation group was used SALAJIT MAJUN(7g Tid). Control group was used JIE GU QI LI pills(1.5g Tid), oral 3 weeks. the two groups will be observed before and after the technique of fracture reset in day1, 21, 35 and 42 with X-ray respectively, to observe the callus growth and record fracture healing time and Individual follow-up in 120±7 days after recovery forearm rotation.(2) In the experimental research, 180 four-month-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were enrolled in this study. After rat femur fracture model was established. And then rats were randomly divided into five groups,feed in single cage. Model group was treated with normal saline(15ml/Kg). Positive control group was treated with JIE GU QI LI Pills(2.32 g/Kg).Experimental groups were treated with SALAJIT MAJUN according to weight calculation, and its doses were devised three doses, like high(8g/Kg), medium(4g/Kg) and low(2g/Kg) for each group gavaged once a day for 2 weeks. they were checked with X-ray at first and use ELISA method to detect the expression of BMP-2, IGF-1, VEGF, IL-10 and TNF-a in serum in 2weeks,4weeks and 6 weeks after operation.Result:(1) after manual plaster fixation,treated with SALAJIT MAJUN or JIE GU QI LI pills to the ulnar and radius fracture.through comprehensive observation of clinical curative effects of two groups, the observation group X-ray callus quantity score is better than that of control group(P<0.05), the observation group of fracture healing time is earlier than the control group(P <0.05), two groups of average healing time: observation group for 5.52±1.093 weeks, control group for 6.24±1.091 weeks. Observation group of forearm rotation function recovered faster than the control group(P < 0.05).(2) in experimental study, each group was Compared within the same time, the fracture healing examined by X-ray and used Garrett score evaluator: low and middle dose group had great statistical differences compared with other three groups(P<0.05) high dose group had no significant statistical difference(P>0.05) by comparison with positive control group and model group, low dose group and middle dose group of fracture healing scores higher than the other three groups, high dose group’s fracture healing degree is lower than the positive control group, but the same with model group. In the expression of BMP-2, IGF-I, VEGF and IL-10 in serum, middle dose group had dramatic differences(P< 0.05) than model group and positive control group, and high dose group was lower than the positive control group(P<0.05), high dose group and the model group had no obvious differences(P>0.05); While the expression of TNF-a in middle dose group was lower than the high dose group, positive control group and model group(P<0.05), the expression of its high dose group was higher than middle dose group and low dose group(P<0.05),but compared with the model group had no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion: according to the cilinical research SALAJIT MAJUN have significant effects on the process of fracture healing, Also experimental research found that the right amount of SALAJIT MAJUN can activate osteoblast, increase the density of trabecular bone, promote the healing of fracture; High doses of SALAJIT MAJUN can promote the differentiation of osteoclast, but has poor control of the inflammatory cells, fracture healing effect is not obvious, therefore, it is important to pay close attention its clinical dosage and also it needs further research.
